Quite a self-contained stay. I received instructions as to how to get to my room which was in the adjoining building to the pub. It was a lovely deluxe room with plenty of space allowing me to get some admin work done beflore relaxing. They had a fridge with plenty of items to choose from for the continental breakfast. The shower was pretty good and the bed very comfortable. There were dining options on site but also other choices not too far away. A very friendly place and great way to spend an overnight stay.

Great find Great Pub with great food and a really comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was a help your self in the room which worked fine. I took it out to the garden which was lovely. I'll come back for sure

One night in the Anchor inn The Anchor inn is a beautiful traditional British inn. The bar is very friendly and the staff are very helpful. There is a good restaurant serving a selection of home cooked snacks and meals. There are 3 rooms for stays with complimentary cold breakfasts. A selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit juice etc. There are toasters in the rooms along with small fridges. The rooms are very pleasant and offer walk in showers, spotless linen and towels, comfortable beds , irons and hairdryers. We really enjoyed our one night at the Anchor inn and would like to return. There is free on site car parking, children are welcome. The bedrooms are accessed via an exteria stone stairway. For the traditional beer drinkers there are several traditional beer and ciders on offer including Bass served by gravity from the barrel

Fantastic place to stop This place is fantastic, my fourth visit this year. First class food with lovely clean rooms and bathroom with wonderful fluffy towels. All the time looked after by happy smiling friendly people. Well done everyone.

A small piece of heaven. Lovely clean room and shower room, very comfy bed and quiet. Excellent friendly staff and fabulous food in the restaurant.

Fabulous Fabulous overnight stay. Bedrooms have there own access and are large with great bathrooms. Attention to detail is fantastic. Food in the pub was of a vey high quality. Breakfast was in the room with a great selection of granola, muesli and cereals. Yoghurt toast and preserves. Highly recommended.

Lovely Pub Accommodation We just stayed for a night but the room was really nice, spacious and clean. They pub provides breakfast which you can make in your room (cereal, muesli, toast etc) which worked for us. Staff were really friendly and helpful, the pub itself is lovely and cosy on a cold winter's night.
