Aquamar Albufeira Aparthotel

I had a medical emergency with my daughter and the hotel refused to refund me, despite submitting evidence. Trip customer service were very helpful, so they get 5 stars, but the hotel showed no humanity and just kept £350!! 0 stars!

I cannot really say anymore that hasn't already been said, this is in my opinion ( and others I spoke to ) the best self catering establishment in the area, the apartments are extremely clean and comfortable with full size kitchens , the apartments are cleaned every day and sheets changed every 4 days , the pool area is lovely and could always get a bed irrespective of time of day , I did not interact with all of the staff but I have to single out Jose who went above and beyond his responsibilities when I unfortunately left something valuable at the hotel , he also gave us all the local info we needed and actually sent me a message to let me know the apartment was ready ( as we were early ) and finally on one night when my wife was unwell he supplied some condiments for us when we decided to get a takeaway. Please do not change anything as this facility is superb .

Lovely clean spacious apartment. Housekeeping staff very helpful and friendly. Not much else going on at this complex. ie food/drinks.Too quiet for us. Felt like a retirement centre! Lovely resort with lovely beach with few restaurants and bars.We got taxis to Albufeira & Villamoura for a few lively nights out. Would recommend this apartment and resort if you want a very quiet holiday. Not really suitable for family with teenagers and young adults.
