Rodeway Inn & Suites Omak - Okanogan

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. We checked in and out in five minutes. How this place got the reviews it has I have no idea. I don't know when these pictures were taken either because it was not anytime recent. The lobby looks nothing like the pictures its dirty gross and completely rundown although the soda machine with the sign that indicated it dispensed warm sodas was a nice touch. They said they had breakfast but I would have been too afraid to tough anything if we had stayed. The room was awful and the key cards no longer work so they give you an actual key that's only meant to be a backup option to the card. Before we even got to the room we were told all the TV's in the rooms were broken. The bottom of the door was coming apart so you could see under it. I always pull the sheet back to check for bugs and I not only found dead bugs but I found variety of stains from various bodily fluids. There were dead bugs all around the room and something red on the wall above the bed that I'm assuming was blood. I pushed down on the bed and it felt like it was going to collapse. The tub was dirty, stained and uncleaned. Again the pictures of the rooms and lobby especially are NOT ACCURATE I repeat not accurate. To top it off the tweakers roaming the parking lot were the icing on the cake. Also remember this is what we saw in only five minutes of being there.

Too much to say; when we arrived, we were not greeted, no eye contact was made, the girl behind the counter literally did not say a word to us until she HAD to ask our last name to finalize the check-in. And then she turned and walked away. My husband had to go back to the office to get the WiFi password (because they refuse to answer the phone), she scribbled it on a piece of paper and still did not say a word nor give eye contact. No information was given to us about the hotel, breakfast, etc. When my husband asked whether or not there was breakfast, the girl yelled "yes" from the office, where she had already retreated to. It was the rudest service we have ever had....anywhere! The next morning wasn't any better. Two staff people, no eye contact, no help, just rude. The area is not safe, we were fearful our car could get broken into, people lingering outside the hotel, and people just outside our door in the middle of the night yelling and using profanity. The night couldn't get over fast enough. It honestly was terrible, and we're pretty good at giving places the benefit of the doubt.

No wifi (except in office), 4-5 channels on a very blurry tv, no tea (we've been out since yesterday but the manager will bring some in tomorrow-didn't happen) the bed was like a slab of concrete with 2 pancakes for pillows. I gave it 1 2 stars because it was clean. Well done housekeeping!
