Hi: we were there few weeks ago and we loved it. its a beautiful property which has a few rooms only so make sure you book in advance. Almost like a home thats been converted. The staff is warm and friendly. food is delicious. its close by to many lovely restaurants and Sim's park is a 5 to 10 min walk. I highly recommend this place if you are not looking for that very hotel type experience. this is very homely. Being a heritage property, it doesnt have a pool but thats not a big deal at all assuming you will be out for the most part of the day. This is in Coonoor which is just abt 65 kms from coimbatore and abt a couple of hrs drive to Ooty depending on where you are going in ooty.

The location of this property and the warmth of the staff including the Manager Geeta and all the members of her team are both exceptional features of this place. The food is homely and well cooked and the chef is able to rustle up anything from the menu without any issues. Given its vintage, the property is generally well maintained. rooms and bathrooms etc are also kept well. The only concern is that rooms aren't sound proofed so one can hear the conversations and discussions happening in adjacent rooms especially at night which is very noisy and disturbing. The upkeep of common areas also could be better. So if they paid attention to these two aspects of better sound proofing and better upkeep of common areas, they would be a standout property in all terms.

Perfect boutique hotel located in Coonooor, walking distance from SIMS park Cute rooms, in the old colonial style. They even have a fireplace on in the evenings.. Huge thank you to Gita, who looked after us with such good care! Kitchen staff, cleaning staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful! Decent south Indian breakfast, also serve some toast etc and an in house restaurant.. Definitely recommend staying here!

During our 5-day stay, we had a splendid experience at this hotel. The location is superb, offering scenic views and peace away from the city's hustle and bustle. The staff members were exceptional, providing excellent service throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and all the amenities provided.

We had a most memorable and enjoyable stay at the Wallwood Garden. The experience will take you back to the 19th century. The surrounds, the accommodation and the food is excellent. We were made to feel at home. We were truly looked after by the staff and would like to mention Geetha, Bala and Robin who were always there to make your stay comfortable. Service ambassadors. Thank you. We will be back.

The staff at Wallwood -esp Bala were very efficient and helpful. Gita who manages the property was friendly and approachable. The food also was very good. However, the room was disappointing. We stayed at Eucalyptus. The paint on the walls of the room and bathroom were garish and hurts the eye. No colour coordination- wall was pink ! Since the room had large windows ,a lot of light came in. The curtains were thin and had no lining. Have visited this beautiful home many years ago when the owners lived there. Such a vast difference to then and now.

We stayed at Neemrana - wall wood garden after our booked hotel in coonoor was not to our liking. Geetha, the manager was very welcoming, vibrant and helpful in showing us around and making our stay enjoyable. The chef, Bala , Robin and all other staff in the hotel were very responsive to our needs. Tasty limited buffet breakfast and all day menu was good too. We also enjoyed the evening in the drawing room with the fire on in the fireplace. Will stay there on our next visit for sure.

While the property is small but beautiful, I felt they are massively understaffed. The same person was doing multiple things and guests often had to struggle for his attention. Food is okay but th rooms feel damp and old. Overall decent for the price. Sims park is close.

We stayed two nights here at the tail end of the Monsoon season. Our accomodation was not in the main house, but to some rooms off to the side. They were really damp, despite staff having heaters going prior to our arrival. There was mould on the ceiling. The menu was fairly extensive, but in my opinion needs to be much smaller and done better. Food was average. To their credit the staff were super friendly and accomodating. The property is a little tired partly due I think to the Covid crisis, India like most places is still recovering.
