Good location but services need imprivement We stayed in the heritage rooms which are large, well maintained. The main concern is non availability of lunch. During our stay, even dinner was not available on a couple of nights. The management needs to work in this aspect urgently since going out for dinner after a day of sightseeing (requires a car; no restaurant in walking distance) is very difficult to manage for senior citizens and families with young children. On the positive side, the staff and management are very helpful and try their best to assist.

This family run guest house is a little treasure. The house itself is over 165 years old, dating back to the times when Ooty was a real hii station. The current owners work really hard to keep this guesthouse working well. The garden is absolutely immaculate. The room we were in had all necessities, good hot water, lovely thick blanket on top of the duvet, and they also provided an electric blow heater. Although they are not a restaurant, they rustled up some really good veg curry, rice and dahl for us. Breakfast was adequate including toast and an omelette. Most of all, they are really helpful - at the last moment we had a need for a wheelchair, and despite being in a very small town, they managed to procure one for our use.
