Hotel Lakeview

This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. 1. Everything Costs Extra Need a heater? That’s extra. Want a wood fire to stay warm in freezing temperatures? Also extra. They’ll nickel-and-dime you for basic necessities that should already be included. Total money trap. 2. False Advertising What you see in the pictures is not what you get. The rooms are outdated, poorly maintained, and look nothing like the polished images they use to lure you in. It feels like bait-and-switch at its finest. 3. Zero Service Standards We asked for blankets. Waited over 2 hours. Nothing. Had to walk all the way to reception late at night and demand them before anyone moved a finger. Their response? Cold, careless, and completely unprofessional. 4. Shocking Levels of Negligence A *** urinated right outside our room. We reported it, and the staff acted like they cared. Said they’d handle it in the morning—then did absolutely nothing. No cleanup, no sanitation, just ignored like it never happened. Utter disregard for basic hygiene and guest experience. Hotel Lakeview is a disaster. Poor service, false promises, and a complete lack of responsibility. Avoid this place unless you’re okay with being ignored, overcharged, and treated like a nuisance instead of a guest.

Location wise good, nice house keeping staff- especially Niti. Service was very good. Definitely would recommend for next stay.

It was a good experience specially the weather was superb, food is good and although property is quite old but gardening and all has been maintained.

Lake view hotel Ooty, at first sight I liked..Our stay was very pleasant ..The hotel surroundings are too good ..It's really good when you have kids with you..We enjoyed the morning and night walk in the hotel property .. Personally I felt, food options were few.. The restaurant staff was good but the staff numbers can be more so service will be quick.. Looking forward to in the hotel in the future Ooty trips..Hotel view is mesmerizing

Hotel is located outside the city so we can enjoy calm atmosphere. Open space outside the cottage gives a wonderful experience especially during morning. Apart from it a good children play area is available. Food is also very good. Room interiors should be improved.

Food was awesome, nice friendly staff!! Location is near to most of the sight seeing spots. There is also a park inside where children can play.
