Golden Rock Dive and Nature Resort

I highly recommend this beautiful resort! Off the beaten path but worth the extra hop! Golden Rock Resort is great for couples or families wanting to spend quality time together. We were there in off-season, so it was very quiet - which we loved - it was like having the resort to ourselves. Two beautiful pools with more than enough seating. There are two restaurants on site but only one was open due to the low occupancy but that was fine because we at dinner in town nightly. The food and service in the restaurant was fabulous. The resort offers a variety of room categories - each has their own benefit. We chose the 1-bedroom cottage so we could have a door that shut between the bedroom and the sitting area. It was lovely with its own private outdoor seating and kitchenette. I did get a look at the other room categories, and they are all fabulous - they are offer something slightly different and are located in different locations. The resort is working on becoming totally sustainable. They have an enormous greenhouse where they grow their own fruit, vegetable, herbs, etc. They have chickens, solar panels to make energy, and an intricate water filtration system. I highly recommend a tour of their processes as it was very impressive! It's important to note that there is not a beach, but the ocean is in every view throughout the resort. I absolutely have to do a shout-out to Helena, Julian and Victor in the front office! A fantastic team who were always happy and ready to help!

Golden rock is a luxurious accommodation in statia and what makes a big difference is the staff who work there. Starting from Gio,Jowi and Victor who were very helpful and could check on us everyday. The ammenities in the resort is five star and you will enjoy the view of lavish gardens and beautiful blue ocean from your balcony.

We are looking forward to our next booking really soon.We visited the hotel on a birthday and stayed in the cottage. The room well decorated and lovely,faster and easier check in by Victor.He was an excellent care taker during our stay.Five star for him and the team. The food was delicious in the breeze restaurant. We shall visited again.
