Words cannot fully express the awful experience of Ruxley Rooms. So to try and summarise, the shared bathroom door wouldn't close as it was off the hinge, the bath was full of cement dust, the curtain pole fell down when trying to close curtains and after attempting to pull sheet down, the mattress was found to be stained and stomach churningly dirty . Needless to say, we cut our stay short and left.

We check in late, due to our circumsyamces. The staff asked us to pay £20.00 without decency and explaing it as not stated in the policy, asking us while he is in our room, and rude and shouting. We paid the 20.00 anyways. Following day, we check out at exactly 7:55 am which our official check out is 2pm, before we check out we took photos of the viscinity for our review. The staff came out and shouted at us and asking us to live the premise as we are taking pictures as we think ee did not violate anthing. The staff needs proper training in hospitality and must improve thier professionalism. Stongly not recomended.

Myself and Brother went to Brands hatch during the day and got back to check in at about 18.30. Was greeted by the slowest opening gates in the world. No marked parking spaces. Went to the entrance and there was no reception desk or even clue as to where to ask. I knocked on the random door, was greeted by a face and door was then closed, re-open and a key given to me with instructions to get through the rabbit warren of corridors. Found our room which to put your head down for 1 night was passable. Worst thing was the awful smell of *********, they can't deny it because it STANK! The headboards weren't attached to the beds, and they soon moved once you sat or lay on them. No power points next to the beds for chargers etc. You could hear EVERYTHING from the adjoining room, to the point of a dropped item sounded like it was coming through the wall. The shared Bathroom was clean however no extra toilet roll was available and the holder was empty in the morning. Tv signal was shocking, No milk for the Tea & Coffee. They could easily have put the Wifi password on a leaflet in the room but instead you have to ask & if you want a meal you have to pre book when you book the room, which to my mind it ridiculous. In conclusion if you want somewhere to put you head for a night or two this place is good enough for that BUT Do not expect comfort, luxury, nice views or surrounding! The shower will burn you unless you damn careful and take your own toilet roll.

I stayed at Ruxleys rooms it was very clean and cheap stay. In the room desk had crack and also plug so scared to use had no choice no there plugs in room. There was no TV remote to watch TV. I can't believe in this day and age there property of this state. There was no heating in rooms or bathroom, I wasn't able to sleep due to cold room even though I put jacket and sock on. The bed not of good quality when I went to sleep I slumped down. The items in room were of poor quality.

Booked for last Sat to find out the hotel was over booked and cancelled free of charge, so a panic to find another suitable accommodation and await a refund. Then this hotel still showed rooms online after cancelling, as if they are waiting for a larger or more expensive booking. Rather than take the hotel offline and prevent the problem.
