Other reviewers have described the atmosphere, the food (the FOOD! Mmmm!), the place itself and the glorious surroundings; they’ve commented on the wonderful hosts Johan and Marcel, and the lovely experience of sharing meals with people from around the world. I can only agree. Ladfabriken is a unique and special experience. I’m sure everyone feels the same, but we came as strangers and left like friends. There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe this couple and this guest house. Just go, with an open heart and a curious mind, and enjoy the privilege of meeting this couple. Enjoy too the obvious bonus of the endless possible nature adventures you can have while you stay. Thank you so much J and M. It was my first time staying at Lådfabriken - but certainly not the last one! Coming to Lådfabriken was like visiting old friends or family. It's this distinct feeling of being welcome from the very first seconds of the informal check-in ("There you are, we've been waiting for you" was the first thing I heard) and through the entire stay. The place's warm athmosphere and the hosts' laid-back attitude make you feel at ease. Johan and Marcel are incredibly great hosts with lots of experience and the passion for what they're doing. The right people in the right place is the least I can say. And you can talk to them in all possible tongues - English, German, Swedish, Dutch (didn't try), Spanish, (o)djurspråket, and certainly many more which I didn't dare to explore. Lådfabriken is a creative place, well thought-out and designed. You feel at home instantly despite sharing the space with others. You can enjoy your meals (breakfast and dinner) in the company of other guests, sharing your impressions and experiences. It's the Lådfabriken magic which unites everyone involved and makes them friends, for the moment or maybe longer. I came to Hälleviksstrand to celebrate a wedding (not mine though), and the celebration wouldn't have been as full and accomplished without my stay at Lådfabriken. Thank you! :D

We had the great opportunity to be invited to Lådfabriken for a birthday party. The place is so unique. It is like spending time in someone’s fantastic and superbly designed home. Johan greeted us like a friend at the door. He and Marcel were always around, working with stuff and attending to our needs simultaneously. The place as a very refined yet extremely relaxed wine to it. We had a fantastic shell fish dinner with the most exquisite cray fish, crabs and shrimps. The best and the freshest I have ever tasted. The breakfast was an experience in itself. Thank you for a wonderful and surprising stay.
