Garner Hotel Osaka Honmachi Midosuji Reviews

The service of staffs, cleanliness of the room, everything was good. For location wise I would say there is good and bad. For my case, I'm travelling from Kyoto to Osaka, carrying a luggage to the hotel is not really convenient especially when changing from Osaka station to Midosuji line to get to the hotel but the good is accessing to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashisuji are convenient as just few stations are needed/can simply walk for around 30mins~45mins from the hotel. Overall is good experience when this is my first Japan solo trip.

It was a little bit small than I expected , but me and my friend manage. The front desk personal was very helpful. But I wouldn't stay there again though, unless I was a solo traveler

I only had a short stay at Garner. I can say that for the price, the quality was excellent. The room is small, which wasn’t a problem for a solo traveler, and the bed was super comfortable !

Hotel is clean and service staffs are friendly. The room size would be ok if your luggage is small. Both my friend and myself has big luggages. Overall it’s ok. The only thing I don’t like is the step to go in the toilet so if there is an elder in the family, it will be a little tough for them to go toilet.

The above are all free, and there are also paid instant noodles, drinks, and snacks for sale. 💟The only drawback is: there are no cups, teapots, and kettles in the room, and you need to use your own cup to go downstairs to get hot water. ✅Service: Very good, stayed twice, met front desk staff of different nationalities, very good attitude, and extremely flexible. Other hotels do not allow check-in a minute in advance, but the front desk of this hotel is very nice. As long as it has been cleaned, you will be allowed to check in in advance. And joining the hotel membership can delay check-out for free, which is a very considerate service. ❤️Free luggage storage ✅Transportation: Quite convenient, 5-6 minutes walk from Midosuji Line Yodoyabashi Exit 11. 2 stations from Shinsaibashi, 1 station from Umeda. There are Family Mart and 7-11 in the four directions of the hotel. There are also izakayas and noodle shops around. 💟The only drawback: The room is very small, and it is difficult to open the suitcase completely and lay it on the floor when staying alone. There is no space to walk after laying it flat at the door of the toilet. ❤️My favorite point: The bed quality is great, the same as InterContinental, with a down quilt and pillows with different hardness on both sides. The pillow on the backrest has excellent support! The mattress is moderately soft and hard, with good support and no waist fatigue. I will stay here again next time!

The whole room is super clean. Although the space is not as huge as that of a luxury hotel, it has everything. The water temperature of the shower is very comfortable and the bed is big enough for one person.

As a newly opened international brand chain low-cost hotel this year, the hotel's facilities and room decoration are a bit simple, of course, the hotel's location, service and hygiene are all very good

The room is smaller than other hotel rooms in Japan. The suitcase can only be placed under the bed. Friends who have this requirement should pay attention. It takes about 7-10 minutes to walk from the subway station. It is more convenient to be one station away from Umeda. There are many places to eat around the hotel. It is located in the office area of ​​Osaka and is relatively quiet at night.

I knew that Japanese hotels are expensive and small, so I just wanted to be clean. The overall feeling was good and it was convenient to buy things around. Generally speaking, it was clean, but there was hair on the other bed. I picked a clean bed with disposable bedding and it was not a big problem. The room was really small and I couldn't even walk through the bathroom with my suitcase. The ventilation fan in the bathroom was very strong and very good. I could wash socks overnight and they would dry.

There is no Chinese service. I asked many times before check-in and they promised that there would be Chinese service, but there was no Chinese service until check-out. There is no drinking water facility in the room. If you are thirsty in the middle of the night, you have to go to the first floor to get water. It's just like living in a dormitory. The cafe on the first floor can only be the icing on the cake but can't replace the kettle in the room.

A very clean hotel with good price and close to Shinsaibashi. The front desk service is very good, and there is also luggage storage service, which is convenient for travelers who arrive early or leave late.

The room is not big, but clean and tidy with complete facilities. The transportation is also very convenient, between Shinsaibashi and Umeda. The service staff are very nice. There are free hot water, cold water and soda water on the first floor of the restaurant. In Osaka, which is zero degrees, I go to the first floor to get a thermos cup of hot water before going out every day, which gives me great confidence.

It was a very clean room, perfect for a solo traveler. I had to line up to check out, so I think it would be nice if there was an automatic check-out system to make things smoother.

There was a hotel with a similar name nearby, so I almost got lost. The interior was nice.
