Hilton Vacation Club Polynesian Isles Kissimmee

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Polynesian Isles Kissimmee. The only pitfall was the washer and dryer are not in the unit. They are located right outside the front door, to be shared between the two tenants on each floor. However, I never encountered a delay when using. It just would have been more convenient in the unit.

This place has a great tropical feel. Unlike the big resort with restaurants etc this place was low key and quiet. Great friendly staff, comfortable room and full kitchen. It’s located in the middle of everything. Plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place.

Was very surprised and enjoyed our stay. My daughter and I were in the area for Nationals for dance snd truly loved our “home base” for the week and our stay. This place is a true hidden gem in the area and peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. While there aren’t flashy amenities like other vacation resorts, this place does offer a quiet setting just minutes away from shopping, the interstate, and Disney World (which I had to run to the convention center at Disney’s Dolphin hotel everyday and it was only a 15 minute drive). It was just my daughter and I, but we felt so spoiled with all of the space we had (2 bedroom condo) and a full kitchen. There is also security to wave you in an out, pretty much at all hours, but I never felt unsafe here at all. We were located in the area behind check in and loved our condo. Pricing wasn’t bad either. This will now become the first location I’m looking up when coming to Orlando.

Great Staff at a great hotel! We enjoyed our visit once again ; we were here last october as well in a troublesome time ( Hurricane Milton) The Front Office staff remembered us ( Freddy and Josue) And It felt like coming home! This time we stayed about 2 weeks off and on and were extremely happy with the service from all front office staff ( not only Freddy and Josue but also Carlos and Riley) as well and their manager Lou! We are already looking forward to our next visit ! Thank you all!

We decided to stay at this resort after reading multiple positive reviews online. However, we were very surprised to discover that our experience was nothing like the reviews. I am not certain what the reviewers were comparing this resort to in the Orlando area, but this was the most disappointing stay we have experienced in frequent visits to the area. We expected the resort to be older, but we were shocked at its age and the overall appearance of the unit. The unit was dark and dated - the lamps in the living room were straight out of our 1980s apt. We booked a 2 bedroom villa for a week, but ended up leaving early. Honestly, we would have left the first night if we could have found an alternative in June. The unit had a terrible musty odor despite our attempts to open doors and air out the rooms. The carpet was dirty and darkly stained in multiple places; the tile floors were not clean and very sticky. It was readily apparent that the unit had a rapid and incomplete cleaning prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, there were large bags of garbage and dirty linen piled at the door that stayed there for several hours. We had to move them to get in and out of the door. We spent several hours cleaning the unit just to be comfortable staying there, and we finally gave up on the musty stale air and left early. The screened porch was especially dirty - it appeared to have been a very long time since it had been cleaned. Our unit looked out on the highway with constant road noise. In addition, there were many areas in our unit that needed cleaning, painting, and repair. And beware that there are no elevators in some of the buildings; we hauled our belongings up stairs in 90-plus degree heat. There are so many vacation clubs in Orlando with resort-style pools and areas - this is not one of them! And this property is nothing like the other Hilton Vacation Clubs we have visited. I expect better from a HVC property.
