Torbay Guesthouse

My partner and I had an amazing 2 night stay. The guesthouse was spotless, light, airy, standard size fridge, tea/coffee facilities and fan in room. James was great and very welcoming. Great location a few minutes walk from the beach.......we will definitely visit again.

Lovely guest house. Very clean and tidy. Brilliant location. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was wonderful too. Very accommodating for the children too

Cheap b&b, though with a recent renovation so that it looks kinda swanky and not one of those cheapo run-down seaside b&bs. Good location near the Preston end of Paignton, not much parking but it's about 10 seconds away from a carpark with plenty of spaces - maybe slightly annoying to have to pay extra for a carpark but it's hardly super expensive. Really friendly and welcoming owners too. Only real downside was maybe the thin curtains, but then I've learnt to take an eyemask with me. And if other people in other rooms decide to watch TV or talk really really loudly late at night or you're a bit screwed cos of thin walls. But then again, I've also learnt to take earplugs with me.

Had a lovely weekend all thanks to James and he's family. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Parking on site and the beach 2 minutes walk away. All nicely refurbished and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return hopefully soon

We loved our stay at Torbay Guest house. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. You can’t beat the location on a quiet road right by the beach, literally a few moments walk. The owners were so hospitable and really made our stay great. We would definitely look to come and stay here again if we’re ever back in Torbay. Thanks so much!

This place really is a home away from home and is ideally located to explore all the tourist hotspots and Torbay beach, which is just a few minutes’ walk away. The Rochesters all pitch in to give you an experience far beyond what you’d expect. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable and the breakfasts, freshly-prepared, are top notch. I visited with my Ukrainian guest who had never been to Devon and the whole experience made her fall in love with the area. It’s a real gem of a guesthouse, run by wonderful people.
