"Truly 5* in all aspects. Beautiful huge property with the rooms surrounding a lake, giving great views in the day. But don't worry about the size of the area, they have buggies to shuttle guests around. Our 2 bedroom suite was a huge comfy space, a master bedroom with a huge bathroom that comes with a luxurious bathtub. The other bedroom had 2 single beds with an attached bathroom with a standing shower but still spacious. Huge sofa in the living room (which can possibly sleep another person) and a dining table, all in between the 2 rooms. Everything is well maintained and clean, mini bar all inclusive, it's funny how they continue stocking the fridge even when we didn't drink any. I love the open wardrobe concept. Wished they had a full length mirror in the Twin-bed room though.
The breakfast spread is good, a wide variety including live stations for eggs and congee and cuisines ranging from local Thai to international. They also have an extended selection on the weekends including a noodles live station. The pool, right beside the breakfast restaurant is a little small but enough to keep the kids occupied. The water is perpetually cold regardless of the time of the day. Staff here are excellent, always full of smiles, friendly and welcoming, from front desk to the buggy drivers, to the servers at breakfast.
Certainly my choice hotel if I ever return to Khaoyai."

"It's a cute little hotel. The atmosphere is like staying at a friend's house. There's no elevator, but it's very modern. The system is automatic, from the door, toilet, sink, shower. The room is clean. The TV is very big. It's suitable for animal lovers. There's a dog to welcome you. Breakfast is rice soup, bread, tea, coffee. The entrance might be a little difficult for people who aren't familiar with it, but you can turn on GPS to get there."

"I am pleased with the service and the hospitality extended by the staff. It is a nice environment, and they provided excellent delicious breakfast.
However, some improvements are needed.
1) Sanitation. There are many houseflies in the hotel room. This can be better managed. And dogs should not be allowed into the breakfast area.
2) There are ongoing construction nearby during my stay. One is a minor hacking in one of the rooms. Another is a major construction opposite the river from my room. The construction started pretty early. The construction work can be seen from 2 of the photos posted."

"When I booked, I didn't expect much because the price was just over a thousand baht. I planned to stay overnight and leave early in the morning. But the accommodation was very clean. It was a 15-minute drive to Midwinter. There were clothes racks. The bathroom was spacious, the water pressure was good, and the hot water was good in January, the coldest month of the year. I woke up in the morning and it was 13 degrees 😂. There was enough parking. The male owner (or not) was very polite."

"The room is very good, the atmosphere is good, it is clean, but if the bathroom has a fan, the air system will be much better. It smells a bit musty, but overall it is very good."

"The room, view + food was amazing & great - no doubt.
However, their service and cleanliness (especially about the sofa beds) seems to be seriously lacking. And it seems like dogs tend to stay here too. Which is highly concerning that they don't clean up the rooms properly. I've been having bed bugs/ticks on my clothes/body throughout 5 days now as I'm travelling from place to place. As if an invisible bug keeps biting me non stop. A rookie mistake was to sit on the sofa bed and then the real bed (which was incredibly soft and the 4 pillows were amazingly soft and smooth too) but all this went down the drain cause I cannot remove the bug anymore. It's constantly with me since it's infected all of my clothes too. I'll always end up with a scar/bite on my body. It sux. I told the staff about this and she simply gave me an awkward smile. This was disappointing. I believe they have to train their staff better together with maintaining the pest control for a better stay in future... also the place is super crazy dark at night.... no lights whatsoever into the hotel... pretty scary and that's the only thing about the location. You do need a car. Else, it's almost impossible.
They have a hairdryer here for you and everything is laid out once you're there. There is a boiler for you too. The amenities are much appreciated."

PPanidaJSThe room was clean, generously sized, and featured a very comfortable bed. However, the pillows lacked proper support, which unfortunately left me with a sore neck each morning. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Communal areas are well-maintained, with plenty of charming spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the cool breeze, as well as spacious grounds for walking.
We were slightly let down by our room upgrade. Although we had specifically requested a quiet area, we were placed next to a family with very loud, screaming children, which made it hard to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere we were hoping for.
Breakfast, however, was the most disappointing aspect. Based on the glowing reviews, we expected a high standard with good variety, but what we experienced was quite underwhelming—basic, uninspired, and far from memorable. For a hotel of this calibre, the breakfast offering felt like an afterthought and is an area that clearly needs significant improvement.

AAnonymous UserThe service was exceptional, the staff paid so much attention to our needs. However unlike Toscana, we were not allowed to cycle through the resident area to explore and only outside the resort. The parking areas could have more protective shade installed due to the immense heat in the afternoon and rainy season. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain during the day, our car experience quite a rain leak through the sunroof as the drain tube was clogged. The staff however was quick to help us by having security reserved a parking spot with roof shade when we came back from exploring Khao Yai. We appreciate this very much since it rained the rest of the night. To sum up the staff and security went above and beyond to accommodate us.

GGuest UserMuthi Maya's staff has really good service and they went beyond my expectation to provide me with a cake as it was my partner's birthday. I have stayed with their other hotel within the kirimaya group, Atta, and my experience there was a really good and pleasant one, hence chose to stay at another of their sister hotel. However, Muthi maya is very far from most facilities and facilities are only accessible via their shuttle service based on certain timings or by driving. During the stay, one of my kids experienced a medical emergency, a allergy reaction, a first for me, and Kirimaya group's hotel is not the hotel you want to stay at when you are faced with a medical emergency. Firstly, Muthi Maya's reception does not have the basic necessity of a medical kit or medical bag. We even contacted the Kirimaya's hotel reception and Atta's hotel reception and there was no medical bag that we can have access to. Secndly, the nearest hospital is at least 30km away. My kid's breathing pipe was closing and waiting for the ambulance was definitely not a good idea. So if staying here, Driving is the best way to get here. Other than this huge scare, because i stayed during their 'non-peak' period, the hotel breakfast was not the usual buffet and this was a huge disappointment for me as i was looking forward to a good breakfast given i have stayed at Atta before and the breakfast was really good when i stayed there. one night in Muthi Maya cost twice as much as atta as well, Hence the high expectations. Overall, i would say the room was really huge, and pool in the villa was really clean. but sadly because of the situation i had face, i would reconsider booking this group of hotel in the future.

GGuest UserThis is my fourth time staying here, and the hotel's service is consistently excellent. I was even upgraded to a mountain-view room, which was a wonderful bonus! All the staff are very helpful, especially the front desk team. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from local cuisine. The sticky rice with grilled pork was absolutely delicious, and they also offered Isaan sausage and Khanom Chin. The room's cleanliness was absolutely superb. Should the opportunity arise, I'll definitely be staying here again and will recommend it to others.

MMrs SiOverall, my experience was good, thanks to the stunning views and the size of the room. We booked an ozone suite with mountain views, and I absolutely loved the scenery! However, due to its distance from local attractions, it’s important to plan for extra travel time. This wasn’t an issue for us, as we had a driver.
That said, there were some areas for improvement. The shower facilities, particularly the water pressure, need attention; otherwise, it would have been a perfect stay. The breakfast options also fell short of a 5-star hotel standard—there was a limited selection. It was only on our last day, Friday, that the breakfast improved.
On a positive note, the buggy service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. However, the pool water was not as clean as expected, and it closes at 7 PM.
In the evenings, there isn’t much to do, as there are no attractions nearby.

JJoy playGreat value for money, and the room was comfortable and roomy! Unfortunately, we encountered a water leak in our room, which was quite a shock. We called the front desk in the middle of the night, and the staff immediately helped us switch rooms. They handled the situation promptly, and the service was excellent! The breakfast was quite basic, but for a room for two at around TWD 500 including breakfast, you really can't complain! 😂

When you enter from the main road, it's very quiet and private.
It may look a bit old, but it's not scary.
Good parking, good service, and breakfast is okay.
It's worth the price.
The large room on the upper floor is divided into two parts.
The lower floor is for eating and sitting comfortably.
The view of the accommodation is the mountains.
If you're not too serious, this is a good choice.
