Pine Beach Pakostane - All Inclusive Light

Really enjoyed my time here. Lots of activities to enjoy like paddleboarding, kayaking and pickleball. Staff were very friendly especially Hugo who went out of his way to make the stay fun for us. We had a good chess campaign together. Would recommend Pine Beach to anyone for a weeks holiday

Brilliant time at Pine Beach- beautiful scenery, good food, sports equipment and activities very good and readily available with good guides and entertainment. Shout out to Hugo for the kayak tour and great hosting throughout the stay- definitely added to a great holiday!

Beautiful location, kind of interesting semi-camping disconnect from electricity concept. But horrible experience, not worth even close the high price. First of, the place has business under two names. The other - it advertises being a world's largest summer camp for teens. While well behaving and nice kids, it means everywhere there are hundreds of teens on a summer camp using the toilets, services, food and making a lot of noise. The food as not worth anything. My kids asked me many times why we are going there to eat. It's a loud huge buffet restaurant, where you have to queue 15 minutes for a slice of pizza, which during our 5 days never had working beverages, menu basically is same every day with nothing spiced, all tasteless and really bad quality. We started to go outside the camp to eat. Beds in our premium bungalow squeeged, you see so close to other bungalows you can hear their noises, heat inside is way too much and there is no a/c. Sandy beach has 11 large umbrellas always taken, but no one never really using the beds under. They take day visitors to the beach. There are, in theory, a lot of activities. But they seem to be geared towards the summer campers. This is not your relax camping-like all inclusive experience. It is you being an adult at kids summer camp, seeing what is left for you after the kids kinda place.

We had one of the sea-view glamping homes. Two families totalling 5 adults and 1 three-year-old managed to squeeze in fairly well and the homes themselves are very nice and clean and air-conditioned - although you have to accept the occasional ant invasion since you're basically living in a forest. Speaking of which, the forest is a godsend during those very hot seaside days, providing ample shade even on the beaches (if you want to, there's still plenty of sun to be had!). The resort is very pretty, the staff is extremely nice and I wasn't bored of the all-inclusive restaurant even after 8 days of meals. The beaches really depend on your taste - there are several rocky beaches that aren't usually too crowded, but suffer from somewhat poorer water access (especially for kids and weaker swimmers). The main sandy beach is very kid friendly, but quite crowded as well and the water isn't as clean. Overall I enjoyed all beaches more outside peak hours. Something you have to account for if you plan to go there are LOTS of children (including a summer camp they host) and, unfortunately and somewhat confusingly, it seems that smoking isn't prohibited anywhere which I really dislike for a resort full of kids. That's basically the reason I took a star off, otherwise there's nothing major to complain about, really, except maybe for the fact that it's not too cheap :) We'll definitely consider coming back in the future.

It was an amazing experience, resort staff were very friendly, plenty of activities to do. A great place to get close to nature and detox from technology. If you love nature, like to stay under the moonlight, and are not afraid of bugs (which are often found in the rooms, in the bungalows) this is the perfect place to vacation with your partner or family, and is in a great place for kids too!

As soon as I saw the photos of this hotel, my heart screamed: “I need to go here, now!” 💚 The eco-style, minimum civilization — it was exactly what we needed to escape not just the city rush but also the horrors of war, constant news, sirens, and endless anxiety. Here, we could finally breathe again. We stayed in real bungalows — not concrete, not bricks, but woven huts made of wicker or some magical forest sticks. 🌿 Just like in a movie! Nature all around, lamps for cozy vibes, and USB sockets for survival. 😂 Everything you really need is there. Reading a book in these bungalows felt like living in a fairytale. And the nights… oh, those bird symphonies! Free therapy for your soul — way better than valerian drops. Even when a bit of rain started dripping through the roof during a thunderstorm — honestly, after everything we’ve been through, we just laughed and took it as another fun adventure. 😉 The hotel area is huge, but it feels like you’re almost alone. Well, except when everyone suddenly remembers it’s lunchtime and shows up at the restaurant. 😄 The food was delicious. They serve four meals a day — but we, being strategic and all, skipped one meal (or at least we told ourselves that 😅). Breakfasts were simple, but lunches and dinners were fantastic with lots of options. We arrived at night, desperately looking for water — and surprise! No bottled water. Tiny panic for about two seconds. But the staff told us, “Relax, tap water in Croatia is even better than bottled.” We tried it — and yes, really tasty and totally safe. Oh, and by the way — they checked us in right away at 2 a.m. 🙌 Activities? Like, open a sports club right here! Volleyball, basketball, football, five tennis courts with lights, archery (super chill for the nerves 😄), kayaks, SUPs, sailing, climbing courses, trampolines, aqua aerobics, mini-disco — and it’s all included! We even took lessons with instructors — totally worth it! Honestly, if I’d gone sailing without them, I might’ve accidentally sailed straight to Italy with no return ticket. 😂 You can spend the whole day paddling or just chilling on the beach — up to you. The beach is perfect: shallow and safe for kids, and for the adventurous — there’s a pier for diving. One cool feature of this place — “sanitary stations.” Yep, a bit unusual that the bungalows don’t have bathrooms, but honestly, it’s totally fine. Bathrooms and showers are spread all over the resort — they’re always close by, super clean, modern, and well-lit even at night. Some bathrooms have washing machines (we didn’t use them, we hand-washed). There’s even an ironing board and iron on-site. Pro tip: bring a clothesline, though most bungalows already have one thanks to thoughtful tourists before us. 😉 But the best thing here — is the people. The staff isn’t just doing their job — they’re the heart and soul of this place. They make you feel like you’re part of a big friendly family.
