Mision Palenque

We stayed in room 124 at this hotel for two nights. Check in was fine. We were part of a large group, and the room keys were set out with our last names which made getting the keys easy, but there were no directions on how to find our rooms, and there was no one available to provide any assistance. The hotel says it is also a spa, but we did not see any indication of this, and there was nothing in the room to advertise massages or facials or any other spa like offering. The grounds, however, are beautiful and relaxing. But, the pool water was green and not at all appealing. The room was sparsely furnished. There was no hair dryer or refrigerator or clock. The television was the size of an old computer monitor. The shades on the window were broken which let in outside light from the hall and the parking area. The wall lamps had rust stains. The wi-fi connection was not reliable. The room was painted white, and it looked like parts of it had been painted many times without bothering to ***** off the previous finish. The air conditioner worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Even though the room fronted the parking area, it was nice and quiet, and we slept well. We also had plenty of hot water; however, the shampoo was in little foil packets and was anti-dandruff shampoo. On our last morning, we had been told to set our luggage out by 6:30 am; however, we were surprised when at 5:45 am they were knocking on doors.

Les lits sont grands et confortables, les chambres sont grandes et propres. La piscine était fermée. Le buffet petit déjeuner était très bien, copieux et plein de fruits, autant de salé que de sucré. Il y a des escaliers alors si vous avez des bagages lourds, c'est pas l idéal. Le personnel du restaurant sont très arrangeants et souriants. Ils ont un très beau parc.

Desayuno buffet me gustó mucho el desayuno buffet y mi duda es cuánto cuesta el desayuno buffet por persona y los horarios de Desayuno buffet casi siempre voy a desayunar con mi familia o amigos pero más voy los domingos a desayunar me encantan los chilaquiles que asen

This hotel looks amazing when you first arrive. It’s set in beautiful grounds that back on to the jungle with wild monkeys in the trees. The drinks and food were very reasonable. However the service is why my review is so low. They just want your money. They won’t let you pay by card we had limited amount of cash with us and we were forced to use it all here. I asked if i could add it to my room and pay when I checked out No you pay now ! Every time. Utterly ridiculous oh and the breakfast was terrible I asked for another glass of orange with my breakfast no you pay with his hand stretched out. I get the feeling they don’t like tourists. Shame because it looks so nice when you arrive

The hotel is lovely. It has beautiful grounds which are carefully maintained and we enjoyed the pool. One caution the pool is not marked for depth and it is too shallow for diving. There is a children's pool which was nice. Our rooms were well equipped and immaculate. The breakfast buffet was well prepared and offered something for everyone.

Our tour group stayed here for two nights. The hotel grounds are very nice as is the lobby,pool and dining areas. Our room was small and very basic but considering the location it was adequate. Fixed menu meals were provided by the hotel. The soup and chicken were good and the flan was excellent. Breakfast included juice, fruit, eggs,, salsa and fried bananas.
