Melaleuca Resort

We had a delightful stay at Melaleuca apartments. Palm Cove is such a magic place with lovely beachfront, great ***** in front of the beach with restaurants and such easy walking. Ocean was lovely as was the pool at Melaleuca. Lisa the manager was superb. We had a problem with a tap washer and it needed a plumber but it was fixed the very next day. Very pro-active and effervescent was Lisa. She ensures the gardens are beautiful. No complaints whatsoever about Melaleuca and Palm Cove in general.

What a lovely apartment. The location is just perfect. Right opposite the beach and minutes from a choice of several restaurants. Unfortunately, we were one apartment to the right of a full-on sea view. If we stay again we will book direct and ask for a sea view. ( only a few didn't) as far as facilities this place can not be faulted. There is a full cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee, dishwasher washing machine and dryer, iron & board, hairdryer, beach towels & toiletries. You do not have to bring anything! Very comfortable large bed. We had our daughter with us. She took up the sofa bed. Probably the only small complaint is that she hadn't been remembered, and linen was sent up last minute and no pillows. Reception was shut, so she took one of ours. The aircon and fan were welcome. Again, I would recommend that if extra people are staying, the maybe additional outside seating would have been nice. The pool area is lovely, and there is a bbq area that we didn't use. Allocated parking that is secure is also welcome. We will definitely be recommending your family and friends.

Lisa is a terrific host and Manager and went to no end of trouble to accommodate our needs. We've stayed at Melaleuca previously and can easily recommend it to others. The apartment we had #11 had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable bed with an excellent housekeeping during the week. Melaleuca is in an excellent position on Williams Esplanade close to good shops and coffees and even icecream. The ocean is right over the road and what a day we had enjoying the Cairns Ironman right opposite.

Spent a lovely relaxing 5 nts in no.11 with my young son. I didn’t need the TV or music, just so nice listening to the waves every day. Amazing view from the balcony. The washing machine in the unit was really handy and great to have the dishwasher too. It was a shame we had to leave but hope we’ll be back again one day! Thank you Lisa!

Our self-catering apartment was perfect for enjoying beautiful Palm Cove. It was spacious, well-appointed and very clean. The resort provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay here. We especially enjoyed the lagoon-style pool, the outdoor dining area and - above all - our view of the beach. Our host Lisa was extremely attentive and even helped us get an emergency dental appointment. We highly recommend this resort!

We stayed at Melaleuca with grandchildren 3 separate times. The apartments have a separate bedroom, sofa bed and small kitchen. The gardens and the walk in pool are lovely. The resort is directly across the road from the beach. Palm Cove is a quiet little village close to Cairns. Perfect for our needs.
