Fergus Club Palmanova Park

Me and partner as a young couple visited this hotel for 5 days. The check in was quick and easy and all the staff were very welcoming, they couldn’t do enough for you. The room was spacious and cleaned to a good standard while we were there which goes for the rest of the hotel also. The adult entertainment through the day and at night was good. The children's entertainment seemed good, I would recommend this hotel for people with children. As a fussy eater I found something at every meal time in the all inclusive buffet and the snack bar also had the usual burgers, chips and chicken nuggets just incase. The main pool is big and at a good temperature, we were getting up to put towels on sun-beds around main pool around 7:30/8am which wasn’t a problem for us. The 40min reservation on the sun-beds was a bit of a pain (you couldn’t leave your towels on the bed more than 40mins). The air conditioning in the room wasn’t the best but it did the job for a few nights away; if I had children it probably wouldn’t have. The shower in our hotel room was cold and after speaking to a few other guests their’s was too, it didn’t bother us too much as it was really hot out anyway. It is a 5/10min walk to the beachfront where there are some nice restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Check out is 12pm we went to get our luggage from the room at 11:50pm and the keys wouldn’t work, once we got our luggage check out was quick and easy and as we had a late flight we put our bags in a luggage room and later on we used their showers and they give you a towel to use also, we had our all inclusive all day even though we was going home later that night. The team were lovely and made time for everyone. All in all me and my partner would go back to this hotel in the future with or without children😊

Friendly attentive staff, rooms cleaned everyday, entertainment something different everyday, different theme of food every night but the basics were always there e.g pizza, chips, pasta. Sunbed situation is like anywhere, people up at 6:30AM to reserve, the staff remove them after 40 mins if no one is on them, we would sit on the chairs in the morning and wait for them to become free but we didn’t mind! 10 min walk to shops, bars and the beach but you have got LIDL and TEDI which is just a 5 min walk if that. Inflatables aren’t allowed in the pool however we walked down to a supermarket and we managed to get a Lilo with a net which was allowed. Our room was available straight away even though we arrived at 1pm, we were also upgraded to a pool view & had a bottle of champagne in our room on arrival. Would definitely return & recommend

Gutes Hotel für Reisen mit Kindern. Das Team vom Kids Club und Mini Disco ist sehr gut. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und gut.

Met de kinderen naar toe geweest omdat we 60 jaar werden. 1e dag al problemen met de airco...na 3 keer melden kwam er s-avonds eens iemand kijken en toen konden we met al onze zaken naar een andere kamer verkassen. Nog niet eens even aanbieden om koffers mee te helpen verhuizen of zo. Enkel sorry. Nieuwe kamer............Stuk ouder dan de andere kamer...Er is ook helemaal niks gerenoveerd in dat hotel.........Ja, de meubels maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Alle kranen en sanitair zijn gewoon niet van 4 sterren kwaliteit. Laat je niet van de wijs brengen door de mooie foto's, want het is gewoon een oud hotel. Niet eens een lobby of zo waar je lekker kan zitten. Alleen buiten bij het geschreeuw van het niet al te beste entertainment (maar goed, waar is dat wel op niveau :-)) Dan het zwembad.....oud en smerig langs de randen. Raak vooral de spijlen tussen het diepe en het kinderbad niet aan want dan kan je je handen meteen wassen. Alles zit onder de smerige aanslag. Wat opviel is ook dat er erg veel mensen verkouden waren in dat hotel. Kan niet komen van de airco want ook op de nieuwe (maar lees gerust oude) kamer werkte dat ding niet naar behoren. Daar waar we in de eerste kamer een enorme lekkage van dat ding hadden, kregen we hier te maken met een airco die je niet harder of zachter kon zetten en ook niet kouder of warmer. Maar we wilden niet nog een keer verhuizen dus hebben we dat maar laten zitten. Terug naar de verkoudheid...............Die plastic beker worden gewoon niet goed omgewassen. Beste is om alles met een rietje te drinken daar, maar bij koffie, een wijntje of een biertje is dat ook niet zo lekker. Schoonmaak op de kamers is wel gewoon goed. Die dames doen netjes hun werk zoals je dat mag verwachten. Kwaliteit van het eten is wat aan de magere kant. Wel genoeg keuze maar echt goedkoop qua vis en vlees. In het restaurant is ook te weinig personeel mbt ophalen borden en dat soort zaken en........voor Spanjaarden lopen ze wel extra, maar zeker niet voor de andere gasten. Dikwijls waren zaken ook gewoon op en er wordt niet tijdig bijgevuld. Van de 7 dagen was er 4 dagen geen rode wijn te krijgen in dat restaurant. Op de nieuwe kamer werkte de TV overigens ook maar half. Een paar kanalen en de rest was ruis of niet ingesteld. De eerste kamer die we moesten verlaten had wel voldoende kanalen, maar ja daar brak je je nek over het water dat over de vloer liep uit de airco. Tijd voor een paar pluspuntjes. De bedden zijn goed en de WIFI is goed. Terug naar het zwembad..............Veel te weinig ruimte rondom de zwembaden, dus je ligt bijna op je buurvrouw. Vond mijn vrouw weer niet zo leuk, want ik had wel een leuke buurvrouw aan het zwembad. Ook aantal bedjes is te weinig en dan weet je het wel....handdoekje leggen, niemand zeggen..........Wordt ook maar half op ingegrepen als iemand gewoon de hele dag weg is en pas om 4 uur 's-middags even op z'n bedje komt liggen. Stel je ook niks voor van de andere faciliteiten want het is allemaal mini

We stayed AI in a Magnus room for 7 nights. Family of four with two kids age 7 & 10. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly at check in. Room was spacious, comfortable & clean with daily housekeeping. Shower was ok, hot water a bit temperamental at times. Balcony a good size and whirlpool in Magnus room is a nice extra. We mostly used the main pool area which had a separate kids section and main pool was nice and clean. We only went round to the kids pools when the girls wanted a go on the slides as they preferred the main pool. I found the pool on the kids side to be less clean. There seemed to be enough sunbeds on kids side and seen a few extra beds being brought round there. The sunbeds at the main pool area were usually all reserved by 8am although the ‘maximum 40 minute reservation’ rule for unattended sunbeds seemed to be enforced by staff most of the time. It was more strict in the morning prior to the pool opening at 10am and in some cases staff were removing towels within 5-10 mins of beds being left unattended. Generally if you choose to reserve a bed/s earlier in morning before the pool opens you need to stay there. More sunbeds would be good although it would make it tighter for space. There was plenty of tables/chairs to base yourself at as everything is in one area although this won’t suit everyone. AI snacks were fine and always plenty available, pizza, pasta, hotdogs, burgers, onion rings, chips, salad, fruit, cakes, ice cream. AI drinks were fine, self serve beer, soft drinks & hot drinks and ordered cocktails/slushies etc at bar. Restaurant food was alright and what we expected. Breakfast was the best. Entertainment at night was varied and ok quality. I’m pretty sure you would hear the entertainment from any room because of where it is based and it goes on till 11pm so if this would bother you then probably not for you. It can be a bit noisy at night with guests returning to their rooms between 11pm-12pm. We weren’t personally bothered by this as our kids slept through (they were in bed asleep by 10ish most nights) but again, be aware if this would bother you. We didn’t use the kids club or games room so unable to comment. During the day the staff work hard to get guests involved in the activities. All of the staff work extremely hard to keep the hotel clean, tidy and running smoothly. Considering there is only one bar, we never waited long at all for drinks day or night. We had a leak in our room and within 5 mins of reporting this the maintenance team arrived and repaired this. Location of the hotel is great, there are shops, restaurants and beach within 10 min walk. Overall we had a great, relaxing family holiday and I think Fergus hotel is good value for money. We like trying different places but would consider returning here for a family holiday.

Wij zijn hier voor onze homeymoon geweest. Was een lastinute boeking dus we hadden niet veel keuze. Vriendelijk personeel, kamers zijn schoon hoewel wij ook hoorden dat er kamers zijn met veel ongedierte. Bij ons niet het geval. Douchen wel buiten de spitsuren doen anders heb je echt een koude douche!! Met zo'n groot hotel zou dit niet mogen. Aangegeven bij het personeel en men gaf gelijk aan dat dit komt doordat iedereen tegelijk gaat douchen. Zo'n groot hotel moet hierop berekend zijn is onze mening maar goed! Restaurant biedt veel keuze maar ook daar zie je dat men niet echt berekend is op het aantal gasten. Lange rijen of lege schalen. Als alles gevuld is is er zeer veel keuze en qua smaak is het wisselend. Maar je kan niet alles even lekker vinden. Het zwembad is netjes onderhouden, beetje laat open. Mag om ons wel wat eerder. Handdoekje leggen is hier ook van toepassing. Er worden wel kaarten met een waarschuwing neergelegd maar daar blijft het vaak bij. Af en toe worden de handdoeken weg gehaald. Zou de gok er echter niet op wagen. Er is de gehele tijd een badmeester aanwezig die vaak zijn ronde loopt en alles in de gaten houdt. Wanneer je iets rust wilt hebben niet hier naar toe gaan want het is een echte familiehotel en voor stellen kan dit zeer onprettig zijn. Voor ons te luidruchtige gezinnen. Met name de Engelse gasten houden nergens geen rekening mee. Schreeuwen, laten veel rotzooi achter. De animatie is druk, elke dag(deel) is er iets voor de gasten geregeld. Super vriendelijke medewerkers! Qua ligging van het hotel. Dit is op 10 min lopen afstand van het strand en boulevard. Prima te doen! Wij gingen vaak s avonds lopend naar de boulevard en terug met de taxi. Voor een paar euro goed te betalen.
