Fergus Style Palmanova - Adults Only

The real strength of this hotel is the staff, none of whom could be faulted for anything during our week's stay. As we arrived late in the evening, a cold meal was provided for us, with a complimentary drink - much appreciated after a day's travel. Reception staff were efficient and always helpful. Pool staff served complimentary fruit kebebs at the height of the day and the poolside snacks and drinks were excellent. Free towels (against a refundable deposit) could be changed twice in the week with the pool lifeguard. The safe box in our room was free (again, against a refunadable deposit for the key). Unforunately, we could not get a sea view room, but our room ( with a balcony), although a little quirky in design, was kept spotless by the chambermaid. With a taxi rank just across the street and a bus stop about five minutes walk away getting about was easy. The buffet breakfast was excellent - with plenty of choice and there were choices for dinner. An excellent hotel for a relaxing stay, with excellent staff.

We stayed for a week end of May and couldn’t fault it. Staff are all super friendly especially the reception staff. Hotel is very clean and the rooms light and comfortable. We loved the location right on the beach and close by to some lovely bars and restaurants. The breakfast was plenty with lots of options. We also had lunch a couple of times which were tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be returning for sure 😊

Anna at reception was quite defensive and lacked customer service skills and communication skills, telling me that my concerns were not something she could do anything about since she just works in reception! I told her that she is the representative of the hotel and should therefore relay my concerns to the management. The entire layout of the hotel is bizarre, inconvenient, and unsafe, particularly for older guests, of which there are many. In fact, I would say the majority of the guests are 60 or 65+. The reception area is like a small island surrounded by steps, which is absolutely ridiculous and should not be allowed in this day and age. On my floor (2nd floor), there was a whole corridor of rooms at one end that are only accessible by going up/down seven steps and no other way for those guests to reach their room or get to the elevator! This may also be the case on other floors and simply should not be allowed for reasons of accessibility. I found an elderly lady struggling to bring her big heavy suitcase down those steps to get to the elevator so helped her, but the design of the hotel is absolutely unacceptable. Furthermore, in my room, the phone was not working and then I found that it was not even plugged in and no one had checked this. A technician came to fix it and also to raise a large and heavy ceramic lamp that was hanging directly over the phone and which hit me on the head! The sink is in the room, instead of in the bathroom, which is also ridiculous.

Another fantastic trip to this hotel, for us it's no. 1 in Palmanova. All the staff are so attentive, courteous whilst being the ultimate professionals. The rooms and breakfast are fantastic and there is no better location to see what Palmanova has to offer. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back (again).

Hotel mit Bestlage in Palmanova. Poolbereich von der Küstenstraße nicht einsehbar. Architektonisches Highlight ist der Rezeptionsbereich mit Glasdach, welches den Boden des darüberliegenden Pools bildet. Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, ist sehr abwechslungsreich und zusammenfassend als hervorragend zu bezeichnen. Gesamtes Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Das Konzept Adults only fanden wir optimal.

I recently stayed for 5 nights with my 2 daughters. We had a fab stay and felt very safe. The hotel was clean and staff all lovely and welcoming. We stayed on the 4th floor and asked for 2 rooms next to each of which we got. Rooms both spacious and clean. We were half board and both breakfast and evening meal were good. Pool areas were all clean. The only thing was there was a small step in the pool area which wasn't very clear and I tripped on this twice and saw other people doing the same, think there should be signage to warn you. Great location with plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Would definitely stay again!
