Americas Best Value Inn Palmyra/Hershey

My family has traveled to Hershey every year for the last 6 years. We spend a day at Hershey park and a day just relaxing at our hotel. We were staying at another hotel on the other side of hershey but last year we were very disappointed in how it had gone downhill. This year we decided to try the Americas Best Value Inn. I have to say that I could not have asked for a better experience than we had! The room was so clean and smelt so fresh (a big deal to me), the staff was all very friendly and helpful and the pool was a huge hit with my sons! The beds were comfortable and the room was large enough for all four of us! The front desk staff was so kind to my sons my youngest asked how to set up the Wifi and they helped him and it worked great and my oldest asked about swimming and night and was told that of course they can (there are lights around the pool) We had an issue with loud guests in the room next to us and when we mentioned it to the staff, it was taken care of immediately and in the nicest way. The grounds are well taken care of and pool; is clean and well maintained. And all this for a fantastic price. I hope the Americas Best Value Inn keeps up the good work and we will be there again next year!

This is a very clean, well kept, and comfortable inn. Higher rated and lower priced than most of the other similar properties in the area. The room is small with no extra frills, but very clean and well maintained. The king size bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we've slept on. The staff are friendly. We enjoyed our relaxing stay.

We checked into our room & immediately noticed an oder of mildew, or mold. We decided to turn the AC, in an attempt to air out the room. We remained in the room for toughly 30 min. My Mother & I developed a severe headache & my 15 yr old son started to experience respiratory concerns. He has asthma, which has been under control. We exited the property for fresh air. I approached the person at the front desk re: my concerns. I inquired about another room and he stated, “All the rooms are the same!” We explained that due to these above mentioned concerns, we could not stay at this property & requested a refund. The person at the front desk was not helpful at all. He continued to blame ******* & gave every excuse possible, rather than discuss the health concerns. I reached out to ******* for assistance & was informed that they would contact the property to discuss my concerns. I received a follow up call from ******* only to relay how uncooperative the front desk person was at the property. He made multiple excuses & refused to issue a refund. I returned to the office to express my frustration to the front desk clerk & was met with the same excuses. He continued to blame ******* for not issuing a refund. This saga has continued with no resolve & no refund. Even after explaining that my son’s health is being jeopardized. This hotel should be ashamed of themselves & I urgently encourage no other person to book this property. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The room was clean the beds were comfy plenty of towels for 2 . The Continental breakfast is minimal but available.

The reviews were just as described. Clean and super quiet. We also chose this motel as it was about 6 miles from the park and we didn't need to pay for a hotel that we weren't using any of the amenities. It was situated away from the business of the area. Would book again.

Great place for a short stay Very clean and comfortable. Good value for the price. Although just a 2-star hotel the room was very well maintained. Small bathroom but recently renovated and clean.
