"This hotel is advertised as a place for "rest and rejuvenation" but when we were there they had rented the space out to a 150+ person event with a DJ until 1:30am. It was absolutely crazy. The layout of the hotel means that all our rooms were close to the recreation area where the party was taking place. We were given no warning before or after booking. Many other guests were complaining, like me, at 1am at reception when we were all supposed to be enjoying a quiet and restful night at a spa hotel. There is only one reason to book an event that would so obviously create such disruptive noise at what is advertised as a place for peace and quiet: greed. This hotel chooses profit over its guests comfort, and is willing to ruin their holidays so that they can take advantage of the huge pay from a big party. Disgraceful."

"We have been many times to La Costa, but this visit was the first in 4 years because of Covid. We were not disappointed. It was as good ,perhaps even better than our previous holidays. Staff very welcoming and efficient, nothing too much trouble. The hotel is immaculately maintained and our room (junior suite ), very spacious with very comfortable beds. Excellent choice at breakfast which is served from 0730, perfect for our golf times at the adjoining Pals course. The course itself is in first class condition especially the greens. The clubhouse is very relaxing and ideal for lunch. The hotel’s beach restaurant is also a great choice for lunch. Dining in the evening , overlooking the beautiful pool, was a pleasure. We would recommend La Costa as a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and picturesque villages, with a beautiful beach and dunes on its doorstep. We are looking forward to return visit."

"The apartment is located in Platja de Pals, near the town called Pals in the Costa Brava, in Girona Province, in the North of Catalonia. The rate quality/price is very good. Full apartment for 5 persons, which was big with 2 rooms, 1 eating-room, a little kitchen and a bathroom. The apparent has all we needed. Beds were very comfortable. A place very nice with very beautiful views at the back. Also, there is a good bar next to the aparthotel. On the other hand, the toilet lost water and the staff could not repair it."
