Long Beach Resort by Southern Vacation Rentals

Tower 3-1405. 1 BR 1 BA. Was adequate for two people but would not recommend for four adults. This Condo could use some real cleaning up. Dust on the AC vents bathtub really needs to be updated area rug, and living room looked really dingy dishes and pots and pans or enough, however they didn't seem to have been used recently so they were pretty gross. I did four loads of dishes on arrival day. The washer and dryer smelled funny so I ran an empty load with detergent plus a second load in hot water. In the bedroom, there was just the comforter not an extra blanket anywhere the mattress cover was for a queen size bed rather than a king size bed. The entrance door frame looked like someone had tried to break in. The boards were very loose and damaged the stove dishwasher and refrigerator were very clean. The balcony could use a hightop table with chairs along side the Home Depot/Lowe's Adirondack chairs. The Condo Association kept the entrance elevators and access to the beach clean every day. The pools were nice. The beach was great. The condos are currently undergoing some exterior maintenance. Hopefully, during this time the owners will take some time to do the updates, freshen up the paint and really clean the place. I will go back to Long Beach resort but next time we will book a two bedroom two bath mainly because I felt the kitchen was really small and difficult to cook in.

It is a great location and easy to check-in.

Disappointed with overall cleanliness. I.e.: could not take a bath , because plug could not fit : drain was full of old dirty hair : we called and complained : no fix as promised ! Couch and chair were stained and dirty : just to sit we had to put sheets on ! Place was dated and way , way overpriced . Will not recommend and will never come back .
