Panama City Resort & Club

Resort is at a great oceanfront location, close to Pier park makes, great customer service. Building is going to start renovations for the next four months to upgrade rooms.

Unless you are ok staying at rundown motels then do not stay here. This place needs renovating and updating.

Vacation view from room was awesome. Location in Panama city Beach was perfect. Studio room was quite roomy, better than most studios. Fantastic sunsets. Only problem was hot tub not being available for use.

We usually stay in the big high rises but chose here for a quick get away. We had just became owners of one of the units . We were well pleased with everything. Room was comfortable and had everthing we needed to start or vacation with. Balcony was directly over looking the beach and a short few steps till u were in the sand. Nice pool area peaceful And quite. Nice area to set outside at the picnic Tables and grills available for use . Front desk personnel were great as well as other employees always friendly and available if u needed anything . The room was comfortable and plenty room For 3 of us. This will be our go to place from now when in Panama City. Within walking distance of pier park and other nice restaurants . Well located . This is not some big fancy place but it’s comfortable and inviting and only 4 stories . Feels more personal than some of the big high rise condos . So glad we found this gem.

Ms. Iris (front desk) and Mr. Reggie (grounds maintenance) are true gems. You can tell they both work very hard and take pride in doing a great job for this resort. Our room was great. Balcony on the beach, easy access and short walk to the water. Beach was clean and water was beautiful. Property location is central to restaurants and shopping.

There is a lot of traffic where the property is located and becomes nearly gridlock during the evenings and weekends. Parking is also limited which can make coming and going difficult. There are no elevators so if your room is on the upper levels you have to carry your luggage and belongings up stairs which can be difficult for some guests. The rooms are entirely too small for families. Even after rearranging furniture, we felt crammed the entire week. The unit did not have a dishwasher and the refrigerator and stove were very small. The pullout bed on the couch was extremely uncomfortable. There is little to no room for storage space in the unit so we basically lived out of our suitcases all week. The beach has a large public wastewater drain in front which divides the usable beach in half. We spent five days of our week long stay traveling to other beaches in the area because of this reason, The pool is too small for the amount of units. There are very few tables, chairs, and umbrellas at the pool so if you don't reserve your spot by 8am, you wont be able to sit poolside or have a place for your belongings. Check-in and check-out was easy. The day before we were to leave, my daughter struck her head on a mirror which was acting a headboard on the only bed in the unit. The staff couldn't have been less concerned for her wellbeing. A few hours later we received a phone call stating the board was requesting $300 to replace the mirror. Again, no apology or concern for my four year old daughter's wellbeing. In my opinion, this "resort and club" would be best for a young couple or solo traveler. I would not recommend this property for small families with young children.
