Papagayo Golden Palms Beachfront Hotel

Sergio, Harley, Andrea in the restaurant were amazing, so attentive and personable. And Jaylor at the front desk was very accommodating and helped us with everything. This was a great experience and if we ever come back this place is on our list!

This is a wonderful beachfront resort. We needed a trip to relax and unwind and this is the place to do just that. So quiet and peaceful nestled in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The pool was amazing, the service and hospitality incredible, and the food (best ribeye I have ever had) was top notch. Natalie was very welcoming upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Analorena and Jose Miguel made our room comfortable and relaxing. The service was impeccable. Sergio and Andrea were very attentive whether it was drinks or food, and super friendly and always helpful. Our stay couldn’t have been better. If you are looking for a beautiful, laid back resort that is close to the Liberia airport and restaurants in Coco, look no further. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning when we may return. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the grounds are really beautiful. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. It is a small hotel and some of the buildings may need some sprucing up but we found the look and feel just right. The gardens are really great and the connection to the local nature with the monkeys and the song birds very entertaining and relaxing. If you don't want the giant hotel vibe and like a more intimate experience, this place is for you.

Das Hotel und Die Anlage sind wunderschön. Das Personal vorallem Andrea und Sergio waren phantastisch sehr sympathisch und immer offen für ein Smalltalk was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Wir wurden rundum gut betreut. Es gab Kajaks oder Stand up Paddle zum kostenlos ausleihen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr fein, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Vögel kommen morgens beim Frühstück vorbei und klauen Zucker was sehr amüsant war. Desweiteren kann man auf der Anlage viele verschiedene Tiere beobachten wie Affen, ein Nasenbär war zu sehen und Echsen. Absoluter Highlight ist fer artenreiche Garten. Was wir allerdings schade finden das die Preise für Getränke und Speisen überteuert sind und wir somit nur einmal abend gegessen haben aber in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es auch Restaurants. Die man mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten erreichen kann. Wir würden aber dennoch jederzeit wieder kommen. Wir haben auch spontan um eine Nacht verlängert. Betten bequem. We’re only on our second day here and already completely in love with this place. The hotel is a peaceful boutique gem nestled in the jungle and right on the beach. The staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful. On our first night, Sergio, Federico, and Edwin surprised us with a romantic beachfront dinner setup with flowers and string lights. The food has been amazing. We had the shrimp fettuccine and seafood soup, paired with mango margaritas from a secret menu. We’ve already spotted howler monkeys and beautiful birds, and love relaxing by the hammocks and sunbeds on the beach. Cozy, clean rooms, helpful staff via WhatsApp, and nature all around. this place is something special!
