The hotel looked decent enough online, but once I checked in, it was a different story. There were no amenities provided at all — no shampoo, no body wash, I asked the receptionist and he replied that I need to buy my own. I had to go out and buy my own toiletries from a convenience store nearby.
What surprised me most was the air conditioning situation. The room had an old wall-mounted unit, but to use it, you had to pay a daily fee.
I understand it was a budget place, but even the basics like shampoo should be a given. It definitely made me appreciate the little things in other hotels — sometimes you don’t realize how much those small comforts matter until they’re missing.
