Avanti Hotel

Fabulous hotel, small in comparison to others nearby, which I preferred. Just couldn’t fault this hotel, everywhere immaculate, never have I stayed in such a lovely hotel. All the staff were extremely pleasant. A big shout out to all behind the reception desk they went above and beyond my expectations, a massive thank you to Angela, Emma, Zoe and the rest. Even though I had a minor accident I thoroughly enjoyed everything in the Avanti & Paphos. We will definitely return. Thank you everyone.

Très bel hôtel 4**** calme, avec petit-déjeuner très copeux, vaste piscine, chambres modernes et très propres, personnel anglophone accueillant, transats avec matelas et serviettes, magasins et restaurants à proximité dans centre-ville à Kato Paphos. The hotel was great. Very friendly staff. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We had a front facing room so away from the pool but boy were we glad of that as the shade was perfect after a scorching day by the pool. Pool area was nice with plenty of trees to get in the shade and plenty of sunbeds. Bar and Snack prices at the pool were very reasonable. The only slight negative is the evening entertainment (a bit hit and miss) but this may have been slightly less exciting as it's not yet full holiday season yet. Would definitely recommend, but maybe not for older children as they would be bored.

Arrived late,checked in by the lovely Angela, who is a credit to the hotel. Given a cold drink and a warm welcome. Our room was facing the pool as requested. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee, was replenished daily, basic toiletries are also provided. The pool ares is beautiful with well kept garden's, plenty of sun loungers. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants, Tea for two is well with a visit. The hotel shop is extremely well priced and great for essentials. The bar prices were great, cocktail of the day £3.95. Basic entertainment on an evening. Lots of people seem to go out. Special mention for Ash who worked so hard making sure everyone was having a great time. The house keeping is fantastic, compliments to the lady who cleaned 5035. I can see why people return, we ve had a fantastic time...thanks to all hotel staff.

Just got back from a week at the Avanti hotel, not a bad stay, rooms clean and tidy, hotel is a tad dated but did not spoil the stay ideal location, the hotel offers bed and breakfast, which is pretty good , but the same offering every day. Evenings we to a walk down to Paphos to eat, a nice 20 min stroll, food the a walk back to work off the meal. They did offer evening entertainment, but was a shame that not many people were in the hotel in the evening as the were out getting food, as the hotel stopped doing the evening meals. To be honest if you want a clean and today hotel with no frills this hotel is spot on, I would defo revisit. One negative is Cats, lots of them hanging around when you eat at breakfast, but if you are a cat person then you will be happy, and to be fair, Paphos is really over run with cats in gear.

Great, as always. However, breakfast was this time very disappointing. I was always a fan of fresh cooked eggs and pancakes. Now, however, it's changed to curled up, dried up ones. Avanti , you've let yourselves down this time. Clean rooms, although they now maybe need a freshen up, but perfectly acceptable. Reception staff (Zoe and Angela) are super friendly, and the bar team (Sylvia and Alex) make the night, and if I'm honest, we go there because of them! The pool area is great. there is no issue finding a sunbed at any time of the day, even if some are reserved. Pool is always clean, maybe too many inflatables creeping in, though. The only thing I would say, as I do every year, is that the village needs to be for families and the hotel adults only. Plus, maybe a gate/code at the back as I saw a few groups just come on almost off the street to use the pool! I heard rumours of you going all-inclusive, and I really hope they don't. People should have a choice, and that makes it fair to all. We personally like to visit and support locals, too. The only way to get people to stay in for evening entertainment is to improve it (it's not bad but not great) and stop children from .running around... again they should be catered for in the village. All in all, we will be back next year...for the 9th time
