Plug Inn Boutique Hostel

This hostel is great if you are in Paris for the weekend and are travelling on a budget. The place was pleasantly clean, simple, and with modern albeit small bathrooms. The highlight is definitely the location. The reception is 24/7 and the staff are friendly and are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They will also let you leave your bags before the check-in time free of charge. I also appreciated the light breakfast they provided, which was a small croissant and bread bun, with a choice of cereals, tea/coffee, spreads etc. The rooms are definitely no-frills, but if you will be spending most of the time outside your room then they are perfectly adequate. There are plenty of charging points, towels & hairdryer provided, and a large fan to cool the room which was useful. I would have appreciated if they included a bottle of hand soap - especially during these times - but you get what you pay for. The wi-fi is pretty spotty and I ended up relying mostly on my roaming. We asked for an iron and were lent one no problem. After breakfast, any left over bread is put out in a basket in reception for free taking too. As other reviews have pointed out, the lift is miniscule and small. During the early morning you'll probably get woken up by the sound of people's footsteps going up/down the stairs, or the lift ringing. There are no safes in rooms, just some small lockers by reception. However, it is in a perfect location with a lively neighbourhood right at your doorstep. There are countless bars, restaurants, and shops. The metro is a short 7 minute walk away, it is round the corner from the Sacre Couer, and any amenities can easily be bought at supermarkets nearby. I would love to return here next time I am in Paris!! If you are not fussy, then I would recommend this hostel - or no-frills hotel - as a place to stay,

Oui les cloisons sont fines, oui, quand j'éternue la chambre d'à côté chochotte "à vos souhaits " et je les entends parfaitement ! Mais ce sera le seul bémol de l'expérience. Chambre simple et nickel, telle que décrite. Disponibilité de l'accueil, excellent rapport qualité/prix, emplacement parfait: à un.jet de pierre des métros Blanche et Abesses (attention aux marches ! 138 ! Ça grimpe), café et restaurants tout autour, la fameuse rue Lepic et le café d'Amelie Poulain, la butte, le primeur Collignon... ambiance parfaite, service impeccable et au regard des prix parisiens, pas cher !

Not fantastic:1.Lift is out of order for a long time.A quick action on this problem should be a priority.2.Breakfast is too basic.Much better-buffet continental breakfast.3.Breakfast staff are grumpy.A smile is free and simple to do.4.Beds creaked and difficult to climb.5.Bathroom tiles are old and peeling off.

Plus:Great location and friendly front desk staff. Minus:1.Regular breakdown of lift.Quick action is recommended.2.Breakfast is too basic.A continental buffet breakfast is better.3,Breakfast staff are grumpy.Smiling will go a long way.

Das Hostel hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Das Zimmer war sauber,die Betten waren bequem. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine Dame an der Rezeption hat sogar Deutsch gesprochen. Frustück war auch für den Preis OK. Nur paar Geheminuten bis zu der Kirche Montmartre und perfekte Lage ,wenn man Mouline Rouge besucht. Wir sind nach der Mouline Rouge Vorstellung in der Nacht bis zum Hostel gelaufen und es war nicht gefährlich. Also kann ich dieses Hostel weiter empfehlen.

This charming hostel is fantastically located in the Montmatre area of Paris. It’s a stones throw from everything you need including the intermarche, boulangerie, plenty of bars and restaurants, shops, sites (such as the Moulin Rouge) and the 2 Moulins (if you’re a fan of Amelie), and crucially lots of busses and the Metro making it really easy to get around. We spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The staff are all lovely, the cat is friendly, other guests were quiet and respectful while we were there, the beds were comfy and the room was basic but clean. I would definitely stay again.
