I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Residence Inn Paris Didot Montparnasse. Despite holding two confirmed Marriott Bonvoy reservations on consecutive nights, I was denied check-in on both occasions due to overbooking. No prior solution was arranged beyond a last-minute diversion to other hotels, and the front desk staff handled the situation with a lack of courtesy and professionalism. I was promised taxi reimbursements and assured that the second night would be honoured - only to face the exact same issue again. To make matters worse, my credit card was charged for both reservations, which were never provided. As a frequent Marriott guest, I expect better from a brand that usually prides itself on reliability and service. This property clearly failed on both counts, and even follow-up with Marriott’s customer care has been met with silence well beyond the promised resolution timeframe. Not recommended! Especially for loyal Bonvoy members expecting recognition and basic service delivery.
