Dear Hotel Management, Over the past four years, we have consistently chosen Le Saint-James for our stays in Paris, drawn by its unique charm and exceptional service. However, our most recent visit left us disappointed in several aspects, which we hope you can address for future guests. 1. Loss of Reciprocal Membership with Singapore Polo Club The cancellation of the reciprocal membership with the Polo Club of Singapore was deeply disappointing. This partnership was a significant factor in our annual decision to stay at Le Saint-James, and its absence has diminished the value proposition for us. We hope this can be reconsidered or compensated with alternative benefits for loyal patrons. 2. Service & Dining Experience at Bellefeuille (26 June 2025) The dinner service at Bellefeuille was uncharacteristically slow—our three-course meal took nearly three hours due to apparent understaffing. We noticed other guests also growing impatient, which detracted from the otherwise refined ambiance. Additional staffing during peak times would greatly improve the experience. Same issue with the Breakfast service at the Bar. 3. Unacceptable Room Conditions (Third Floor – Room 322) The initial room assigned to us (322) was shockingly inadequate for the price point (€700+ per night). Windowless and reminiscent of a maid’s quarters, it fell far below the standard expected of Le Saint-James. While we appreciated the receptionist’s prompt upgrade, such rooms should either be redesigned or repriced to reflect their inferior quality compared to first-floor accommodations. 4. Vehicle Handling (27 June 2025) Returning a parked Aston Martin uncovered and dirty after a morning retrieval was an oversight unbefitting of a luxury establishment. For guests with high-value vehicles, covered parking and basic cleanliness upon return should be assured. Positive Notes: Despite these issues, we remain fond of Le Saint-James. The staff’s warmth and the exceptional bed linens continue to stand out as highlights of your offering. We share this feedback in hopes that these points will be addressed to restore the flawless experience we’ve come to expect.
