Le Roch Hotel & Spa

I reserved this hotel with Marriott points, and it wasn’t cheap. The rooms on the website photos appeared elegant. It turns out that photoshopping found its market with this hotel. My room was small and ordinary at best. It would have been ok for a rate one quarter of the price, but this was dumpy. The desk clerk apologized for not being able to give me an upgrade. He also informed me that they do not give Titanium members free breakfast. Since it was late, we decided to eat at the hotel dining room. The bouef bourgignon was ordinary, I can make a better version at home and I’ve actually had an equivalent product out of a can. We made the mistake of thinking a burger should be fine almost everywhere . The burger for lunch was edible but not much better. Ordered a bakery basket for breakfast - it would have been free at any other Marriott product but not here. Pastries were not served warm and I received no butter or jams. The shower was excellent, as were the towels - about the only thing that justified the price of the room. On the last day we intended to sleep late, pack, go do some shopping, then taxi to the train station.at 1130 am I was awakened by the phone - the front desk wanted to know if we needed to store luggage. I was stupid enough to think that this hotel might actually recognize Titanium status with a late checkout, but it wasn’t to be. We hurriedly showered, dressed, and packed. It didn’t help that the housekeeping staff knocked on our door three times over the next 90 minutes, despite the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Our plans for a pleasant day shattered, we took a taxi to the station and waited there, giving up the opportunity to get a few souvenirs for the kids back home. I was asked at checkout how my stay had been. When I replied “substandard” she appeared stunned. I couldn’t think of a better word. In no way was this stay acceptable to anyone for the cost, let alone to a Marriott Titanium member. I wonder why they want to be part of Marriott when they have interest or intention of participating in recognizing the elite members of the Rewards program. I got the impression that they felt being a member of the Design Group made them special. I guess it does, but not in a good or enviable way.

Wonderful stay We had a wonderful stay. Only thing that we suggest is to have a folded up blanket in the closet. The comforter was too warm without excessively turning down room temperature so wouldve been nice to have a separate blanket and pull comforter back. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our room was super charming and the pool with hamman is perfect for relaxing after long days of sightseeing.

Everything was perfect. The place is gorgeous. Extremely well located. The amenities are nice. Dinner and lunch at the restaurant are delicious. But the cherry it’s the staff. Lovely, friendly. Attentive. Wonderful stay.

Le restaurant accueille des groupes pour le dîner , ainsi la zone salon dédiée à la détente pour les clients de l'hôtel est réduite de manière significative. Il m'a été impossible d'obtenir une place ,2 soirs de suite. L'hôtel ne mérite pas 5 étoiles, malgré la piscine ...

Too expensive for what it is. Too expensive for what it is. If it wasnt for a free night i would probably never have paid that much. Its a nice boutique hotel but nothing special. Small pool which looks decent. Not much on the menu. Locations is great. Would I stay here if again. Not unless it was at-least £400 cheaper than it is

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff and great location We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and when we arrived we had champagne in our room and a handwritten note from the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent (we have stayed before) and the staff can’t do enough for you. They are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is great and they have a bar where you can get a late evening drink before bed. The pool is small but a treat to have one in a city centre hotel and it has a power jet you can swim against if you want the exercise. We would highly recommend and thank you for making our stay so special.
