Silver Cloud Hotel

This hotel was a gem. We were welcomed like old friends. The owners and all of the staff were overwhelmingly friendly and provided exceptional service and assistance in a non intrusive way. The accommodation was very comfortable and the room had all the usual amenities and facilities one would require and expect. The food was superb in the restaurant with plenty of variety and we also enjoyed great coffee and snacks in the adjoining coffee shop/cafe. We were sorry to leave after our 3 night stay but will definitely return.

Service was fantastic and they went out of their way to change their meal plans to adhere to our request. They set up a massage on sort notice and we’re all incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting. Rinchen the manager was fantastic.

We spent three nights at the Silver Cloud Resort in Paro and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the service was exceptional—every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. The on-site restaurant offered a fantastic breakfast spread each morning, and we chose to have dinner here all three nights because the food was consistently excellent and comforting after long days of exploring. The location is also ideal, especially if you're planning to hike up to Tiger’s Nest—it’s extremely convenient and saves you travel time early in the morning. There’s also a lovely little café right next to the hotel, run by the same management. We popped in for a cappuccino and banana walnut cake, both of which were delightful and perfect for a relaxing afternoon break. Silver Cloud is a great option for families or travelers looking for solid three-star comfort without the stuffiness or pretentiousness that sometimes comes with boutique properties. It offers great value for money, all the expected amenities, and warm Bhutanese hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended—we’d definitely stay here again!

We recently spent two excellent nights in the Silver Cloud Hotel in Paro. All the staff were delightful and friendly. It was nice as well to have a variety of local foods to try. The location also made it easy for an early start for our Taktsang hike.
