"I've travelled a fair bit, but I rarely feel the need to sit down and write a review with this much gratitude. A couple of friends and I booked a few days here on a whim, and it turned into one of the most beautiful little holidays we've had together. Let me start with the thing that matters most to me: professionalism paired with genuine human warmth. When we asked about excursions in the area, **Iakovos**, the concierge, sat down with us and built an entire itinerary of suggestions — places we'd never have found on our own. That kind of care can't be bought; it comes from real passion for the work. Our room was our sanctuary. Clean down to the last corner, always tidy, with that fresh scent that greets you every time you open the door. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention — the rooms were kept to a standard that genuinely made us appreciate the effort behind every detail. The dining was dazzling. At the main restaurant, **Berlinda**, the captain, remembered even our small preferences from the day before — how I take my coffee, what one of my friends doesn't eat. That kind of personal attention is rare. The kitchen sent out plates that left us silent with pleasure. What moved me most was that the same language was spoken everywhere — from reception to the kitchen — true hospitality. Everyone worked toward the same thing: making us feel special. And they more than succeeded. We've already promised ourselves we'll return."

"Very good hotel on the island of Paros. Quiet, with a beautiful view. It is approximately 2.5km from the port which is quite convenient. A bus passes on the main road towards Parikia about 500m away but you shouldn't miss it as they are not very frequent. Otherwise, you have the taxi option for €15. Be careful, the hotel charges very large amounts to take you to the port (and vice versa). The breakfast buffet is very good and varied. The reception was pretty good, according to the person at reception. This remains a very good hotel and the big strong point is the calm and the view. Obviously it is a little isolated but you can rent a car (free parking) or use taxis during your stay"

"We stayed in the lovely Hotel Kontes recently for 3 days. I could not recommend the hotel more. The rooms were amazing. The staff were so helpful. There was one member of staff in particular who made our staff even better. Her name was Gillian. She provided us with so much information and assisted us where she could. I could not recommend this place more. And it is in such a close proximity to the port and bus terminal."

"I have never given such a bad rating to a hotel before but I feel like I’ve had such a bad experience and I need to share in order for others to not fall prey to this hotel. The property itself is a nice property with an amazing infinity pool view. Service at the pool was average but we let it slide. The room itself was ok (not too big) but the real issue came at night in the room (junior master suite) - the master switch to turn off all the room lights was faulty and every time we switched it off, the lights turned back on shortly after. We escalated to the night manager as we were unable to fall asleep at 12.40am and was told very candidly that they knew this room had this issue all along. We asked why they even sold this room if it caused issues and they said sometimes it was ok and we were unlucky that it was not ok this time around. Mind blown?! At this point of time it was 1am and we were given two choices - shut down the entire room’s electricity (which meant no air con for the night) or change to room. We had a early flight to catch at 5 am so we chose to change our rooms - we were given a small room next to reception which was clearly already used (blankets were on the floor, used towels in the sink along with used glasses). It was spooky but we were tired and had to wake up in 3 hours for a flight so we did not argue. There was a really spooky energy in both rooms (103 and 313) We left the next morning and are trying to seek compensation from the hotel for this. Will update. But please avoid this hotel if you can - or if not, at least these two rooms. I’m not sure if it’s a real “electrical issue” or other spiritual issues. AVOID."

"If you want a 2 star that’s ok but avoid if you expect 4 star!. Place looks “tired “ run down , no coffee facilities in room or anywhere after 9 pm . Room is basic and not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel . No music , no atmosphere . Breakfast ok . No dim light in your room at night , had to sit with bright light on in evening . 20 euros for a taxi to hotel from port ! , on leaving I walked down which took only 10 mins . Overall disappointed in this hotel ."
