"The hygiene was appalling. The hotel was incredibly stingy; more than half the towels were yellow with strange colored patches that I couldn't identify. They were dirtier than foot bindings, and I'm not exaggerating. Don't be too harsh on this hotel; just throw them away! The pillows were the same, with colored patches that looked like bloodstains. (The picture shows a pillow.)"

"The room was very clean and well-planned. The nearby shopping mall and the city hall are within walking distance. The hotel breakfast was not very varied but basically everything was available. Paper cups were also provided for take-away coffee or tea. The only downside was that the shower faucet could not be hand-held. The hotel also charged the room fee twice, which was refunded immediately after communicating with Ctrip customer service. Overall, I was quite satisfied."

"Beautiful hotel with vintage American style. The rooms are very nice and clean. Staff very nice too. Shame there is no breakfast room but a small take-away for coffee and typical American breakfast. No sweet cakes but on the other side of the street there is a great patisserie. I will stay again in the future and I would recommend it"

"They are made to wait in the lobby for 2 hours even after check-out time. When I complained to the counter about this, other guests were already being checked in smoothly. I don't know what kind of reservation system they are using, but I felt very uncomfortable because I thought there was some discriminatory intention. The bathroom, toilet and sink were clogged for all 5 days of stay. One sock was lost during the maid housekeeping process."

"I booked the hotel through Ctrip.com. The following is the booking and check-in process. There is no right or wrong, because I don't know much about the California hotel model: First, you need to prepay a room reservation fee of RMB 1,470 for online booking, and then the hotel charges an additional US$75 + breakfast fee of 12/person (later I reported to the platform that it can be refunded). At present, these two fees have not been refunded (I have checked out of the hotel for 4 days). Although the breakfast does not have many varieties, it is enough to enjoy, the hygiene is also good, and the environment is a very quiet neighborhood (this is really great). The parking fee is US$27/day, and pets are US$75 for the whole trip"
