This was our third stay at The Elgin group of hotels, the previous ones being Kolkata and Kalimpong and there is no doubt that the Elgin Pelling boasts of the best location. When yiu wake up to see the mighty Kanchenjunga, playing hide and seek as clouds block qnd reveal it's mighty presence, it is magic unfolding. The Elgin Pelling provides you just that, so much so that you can choose to stay at the hotel without heading anywhere in Pelling. What makes the stay all the more comfortable is the joyous nature of the staff, who ensure you are taken care of, the food which blew our minds away and the warmth of the entire place. Highly recommend!

Very wonderful stay at elgin Mount pandim pelling .The property is located at a very beautiful location with views of mount kanchenjunga.Room is net and clean .Food is awesome the hospitality is superb the service and the server is excellent it fell like me home away home .i would like to specially mention to the server suprina, choden, Norkey ,Sangita pravakar,suvasis and the entire team.

We visited elgin pandim for 3 nights and 4 days and we had an amazing time. Room views are beautiful and food is excellent. Special mention for the morning breakfast team of Alies, Anjali, Aruna, suk hangma and Hemali. The service was too good and the staff made sure we enjoyed our breakfast.

Dinner at Elgin Pelling was a masterclass in refined, high-quality cuisine. Every dish was crafted with precision and imagination. The flavors were balanced, the plating exquisite, and the service warm yet discreet. Thoughtful wine pairings elevated the experience even further. A standout dessert of almond soufflé was the perfect finale. Truly one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had—Elgin Pelling is in a league of its own.

Gorgeous heritage, boutique hotel with amazing views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range. The interior is lovely and full of photos of the people and the area from yesteryear. There's a lovely, peaceful ambience about the place. It has a great sit out area where you can have afternoon tea and watch the clouds immerse and then lift to reveal the glorious mountains. Heaven!

Lovely heritage hotel set in beautiful location right next to the Pemayangste monastery. We loved that we could walk to the monastery, the hotel has wonderful landscaping with springtime flowers, overall very relaxing and refreshing stay. Staff are polite & attentive too. Alies, Aruna, Anjali, Suk Hungma, Himaley .. thanks for all the hospiltality and care. My daughter fell sick on day of arrival and staff at the hotel quickly helped us with all that was needed and ensured we had a comfortable stay. Only thing to note would be that the hotel does show its age and rooms are a bit dated. But it was kept clean, brighter lights in bathroom would be useful.
