The Little Crown Inn

We stayed at the Little Crown Inn overnight for a family event there the following day to celebrate my mam who has recently passed away. The owners Saul & Jacqui were very helpful friendly and accommodating. Hannah was a gem and the chef was skilful and innovative Jacqui provided the most amazing afternoon tea for 16 members of our family. All our family agreed the quality and variety of the savoury and sweet food was amazing. It was the best afternoon tea I've ever had And I've eaten many afternoon teas in my life! It was a fitting celebration for our lovely mam who would have been delighted, especially with the surprise I requested at the end which was delicious I understand Jacqui will be adding afternoon teas to their menu. I highly recommend them for a special treat

Our children organised a celebratory evening meal for my husband 's 80th birthday. The food and staff were wonderful. Cannot be faulted. Thank you all so much. Staff are so pleasant and polite. Food is delicious. Thank you once again. We will return very soon. 9

Super place tucked away. Food was excellent both for evening meal and breakfast. Only minor quibble is 4pm check in did not suit me

Lovely place to stay. Staff are extremely friendly and great to chat to. Good variety of dinner options and all very well cooked - mushroom starter is brilliant. Good cooked breakfast with a decent choice of options. Beds very comfy, nice bathroom with good shower (shower over bath, no separate cubicle). Free parking in well lit, cctv covered, car park. Close to main road. Overall superb, I'm trying to find an excuse to go back!

What a beautiful little pub with accommodation and restaurant. We booked last minute and got a great deal on a twin room. For me, the place is made by it's staff and I want disappointed. Saul was very welcoming, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were stand out, beautifully appointed. We are there over night, good menu lots of choice and the food was gorgeous. Lamb shank, fish, ribs, plenty of choice and served piping hot. Our meal for two with a sharer starter, two big main courses, one dessert, including lots of wine and diet coke cakes to about £70 which was stunning value. I can't taste this place highly enough
