Premier Inn Bridgend (M4, J35)

The hotel was ok, friendly staff and decent food. The stay was spoilt by the temperature of the room. 29 degrees on the first night, 26 degrees on the second. We got very little sleep and the fan provided did nothing to bring the temperature down. Not great preparation for the Dragon ride!

-Free wifi is not good enough to do anything other than send text msgs -No phone signal available -TV is old and slow, poor picture equality -Poor quality cheap food available -I get the hotel, at £127 is on the 'value' side of things, but still... trying to make you pay for wifi etc IMO is not fair -I stayed here before the Dragon Ride at Margam Park, and it is very close, it is clean and room ok for a nights sleep... but it could be way better.

recently stayed at the Premier Inn Bridgend M4, J35, and had a fantastic experience. The location is ideal — just off the motorway, making it really convenient for travel, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. The room was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and exactly what you’d expect from a Premier Inn — comfortable bed, powerful shower, and everything you need for a short or extended stay. What really stood out to me was the service. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed — from check-in to local recommendations. Overall, I’d highly recommend this Premier Inn if you’re visiting the area or just passing through. Great value, great service, and a very comfortable stay.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Bridgend M4, J35 during a recent trip to South Wales, and it really exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for breaking up a long journey — right off the motorway, yet tucked away enough to be calm and quiet.

The premier Inn Hotel was lovely room , cleanliness and staff in the hotel excellent. when you pay for unlimited breakfast for 2 nights this is what your expected. we paid for unlimited breakfast Not a mean welcome from the lady showing us to our table. Telling my son he could only have 1 pancake he will waste the food as there is not enough to go around. To listen to the lady walk away from other tables when they asked had she put the mushrooms on the plate. she walked away in ear sight of us and said to herself out loud " they will have enough food on there plates to miss mushrooms, what more do they want. The lady was moaning about the coffee machine breaking trying to accuse people putting milk in the dispenser. The lady told us 40minutes wait all 3 chiefs are off so the bar manager is cooking. Does he even have food/hygiene certificate to cook meals. If there is a large party at the hotel why does the restaurant not accommodate this in staffing and not rushing around moaning because people are coming in. maybe don't take bookings for outsiders to eat close to public. The evening meal was burnt chicken with dry deep fried chips supposed to have been smothered chicken. The breakfast was awful and to have to pay for limited food was not acceptable, when there was no food out. I feel the experience could have been better I feel the restaurant needs looking at and staffing. To be treated like this is not welcoming at all we visited last year and thought we would come back give it another a try. I will not be returning.

The bed was very comfy, and it was a good height. I slept brilliantly. The room was lovely and clean, and all of the staff I came across were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. I was surprised how lovely the outside of the hotel was, considering it being so close to the M4 motorway, a petrol station and business park. It was like a little oasis.
