Beautiful Mercure hotel, well located near the plane tree alley. Easy to reach by city bus. The staff is excellent. The room is beautiful. The bathroom is a bit small.
The breakfast buffet is very good. We had an excellent stay.

We were with a coach party and had an overnight stay here. The hotel has a lovely entrance with an ornate staircase leading up to the first floor. This was where the breakfast buffet was with a seated area and food preparation. There was one lift for 6 people and this was very busy if you had several people trying to use it at the same time. We were on floor 7 and decided to use the stairs. However the stairs up to floor 3 were normal stairs and then for us on floor 7 it was a very tight spiral staircase with limited handrail which in all honesty would be quite dangerous for most people. Our room had a very budget feel with paper cups and a poor hospitality tray. However the bed was good. Breakfast was a good continental selection with a limited supply of hot food. There was a 4 slice toaster machine but only one side was working so it was very slow to get toast if a couple of people were waiting. A good supply of coffee and tea but no plant milk. This is a budget hotel which shows especially in the bedroom, probably ok for a night stay but if you intend to stay longer it would be best to look elsewhere.

Hotel has a convenient location but is old. Got an upgrade to a privilege room or better two-floor apartment. Unfortunately, it was unpleasant change. The staircase was narrow and steep, unfriendly in case you need to take a suitcase up. Breakfast was OK but as always in France with a low variety and no vegetables. For the first time in my life the welcome drink was offered only to a single guest from the room.

We really enjoyed our stay, everybody is very friendly and always ready to help, nice decoration, clean and quiet rooms. Very good location a few steps from the historical center with excellent restaurants nearby.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was extremely welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. We went to our room which was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The hotel is situated in a good central location with lovely views over the square. Breakfast that we had at the weekend was served at really good convenient times and was self serve, it was good and served in a nice area on the first floor. The beds were very comfortable - we slept very well (no noise that we were aware of at all). The hotel was easy to book and check in and out was smooth with no trouble. All in all a lovely place to stay and enjoy this beautiful city.

Hotel well located in the city center - mixed reception - mediocre room smell of tobacco - HS reading light - one bath towel for 2 people - removable table with traces of glass - breakfast in the room for €38 a scandal 3 pieces of dried bread pastries ditto - seasonal fruit 2 inedible grapefruits and the forgotten butter - the tray given at the doorstep - quickly done well - no more mercury breakfasts!!!

Tous les premiers dimanches du mois, l’hôtel Mercure organise un brunch à 22 € par personne. En fait ce n est pas un bruch mais un petit déjeuner d’hôtel de la game des hôtels mercure ! Ne vaut vraiment pas le déplacement !!! Nous n’y retournerons que s’il développe un brunch digne de ce nom !!

Cet hôtel Mercure 4 étoiles du groupe Accor est très loin des standards des hôtels de ce type, après avoir passé 3 jours à l'hôtel Mercure d'Albi qui est excellent, nous avons ressenti une grande déception, les joints de la douche sont moisis, dès 9h du matin on entend les femmes de ménages qui parlent très fort dans le couloir, le deuxième jour, pas de ménage fait dans la chambre, la chambre est vieillotte surtout la salle de bain. Pas de restaurant, verre en carton dans les chambres. Le couloir qui mène aux chambres pas nettoyé, ce Mercure ne mérite pas ces quatre étoiles.
