First of all...we booked a matador (service van) room. It was an old service van put on the beach and they had put one small single bed inside the old service van. We were excited to stay in it when we saw the pics online on trip.com But when we actually reached the hotel...we understood that we can not even sleep comfortably in that shrink space. So we requested them to give us other staying options. They had small tents. So finally we settled for a small tent. You can not stand in that small tent comfortably. The tent was unclean. It had no proper bed inside. They had just put a bedding with a bedsheet. There was a kettle and complimentary tea bags. But surprisingly there were no cups or glasses. There was an airconditioner though inside the tent. They charged an extra amount for this tent as we changed our mind not to stay in the service van. They charged us a total of 600,000 VND for this small size tent. This was really very high for Phan Their kind of city. The zip of the rent door was not working. Seems that they do not maintain the tents. The bathroom and toilet were separate. Not inside the rent. So you have to walk up to the bathroom all the way if you wish to use it even for a pee. This is a big minus. The toilets were also not clean. Hot water was a problem. They had an instant water heater. Which was not fully capable of providing proper hot water continuously. WC water tank was not working properly. Many times...there was no water stored in the water tank. So you can not flush. This was ridiculous. It is a beach property. But the beach was very dirty. Had many plastic wastes scattered all around. The hotel owners did not even care to remove the plastic waste. Looks very bad. Overall...it was a low level of camping type arrangement. The charges were insanely high compared with the property standards.
