This place is amazing! We booked the 4 day/3night grand jungle and lake package directly with the hotel and then booked an extra night through trip.com. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everything so well organised. Lots of activities to choose from e.g canoe trip, night safari, half day hike, cooking class, Thai massage, all picked up and dropped back to the hotel. The accommodation is surrounded by rainforest, you can hear and see monkeys at breakfast, monitor lizards climbing in the tree. Rooms very clean and comfortable and food very good. Book this place and go to the lake as part of your trip. You will not be disappointed! AMAZING!!

Lovely 1 night stay. Well appointed cottage, spacious and accessible, good restaurant, lovely staff, beautiful views. Very close to Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary which was wonderful. A cacophony of animals during the night which was incredible. Beautiful flowers.

Posizionato in mezza alla giungla e ben organizzato per varie attività. Cucina per tutti i gusti ma particolarmente buona quella locale. Le stanze sono molto graziose. Meno insetti di quelli che credevamo. Personale molto gentile. Unico problema è la doccia in mezzo alla stanza del bagno.

We have lived in Thailand for 8 months now and this was our favourite trip so far! The Khao Sok Riverside Cottages and restaurant is a beautiful site and hotel, and the grand tour which we did (4D/3N) was absolutely fantastic. The staff were brilliant, everything was organised seamlessly, and the activities were excellent. You really feel like you are in the jungle at the hotel site, and we did a great local kayaking excursion down the river to start seeing snakes, otters and looking at the stunning scenery. We then went on a night safari (one of our party had the massage instead) and saw a tree snake, tarantulas, loads of chameleons and other amazing creatures (all from a safe distance!). We then did a lake excursion and stayed at a beautiful raft house, not as basic as they had warned, and went kayaking, swimming and saw gibbons on our morning lake safari. Upon returning to the hotel we went on another excursion on the final morning - a jungle hike and two of us went to the local hot springs. Fantastic value for money and a brilliant trip, thank you!

I booked through their homepage directly, given solo price for a 4 day package including. 1 night on the lake turned out to only be low season price, so they added some hundert Bath (instead of 8,900 as stated on the homepage it was 9.250). When I got there, I was given the cottage all at the end, furthest away from Restaurant ect. The toilet did not at all look like in the pics they promote - but was decent and clean. However, the toilet door was closable only from the outside (the bedroom side), inside the lock was missing. Once you opened the lock on the outside the door was just floating open, blocking the entrance to the shower and giving a nice view from the toilet to the bed… didn’t take a picture since I thought, ok, I might get another room after coming back from the lake (we’ll see, I’m writing this from the lake). The overnight lake tour, being promoted with 10-18 persons with a guide turned out to be nothing like that. 9 people had obviously booked it and 8 were taken by a guide, however I was told that since there was no more space they had booked me in a state tour. We were 30 people in a crowded boat heading for the simple bamboo bungalows, thus, no chance to take any pictures of the beautiful landscape, and not at all anything like 10-18 people as promoted on their home page. 3 more boats arrived at the bungalows and we ended up being easily 60-70 people. I got a bungalow that had a broken porch in front, so only Bering inside or not there at all. The other 8 people from our hotel started in the boat right next to my “refugee-feeling” mass tourism boat, exactly the promised 18 on board. They were also brought to a different raft house. If I had at all known that not only the solo traveling price on the homepage was wrong but as well the tour would not be at all what was stated on their homepage, I would not have booked the package. Thus, be careful! I asked other solo travelers on my tour how much they had paid and they gave me a price of 2,500 Bath incl. transfer. I made the calculation, knowing room prices since I booked an additional night, and I overpaid by around 750 Bath for what I got. As explained, the others at least were in a boat with the stated max. number of passengers. Not sure if they simply don’t like solo travelers, but it’s not nice if you book something and don’t get what was promoted and feel ripped off. 3 stars anyways because the cottages premises are beautiful, food is good, and personell is great. Would have been 5 stars if I had gotten what I booked and paid for.
