The Heid Lofts By Reside, A Wyndham Residence

The longer we stayed the lesser the points became. When we checked in, at first glance everything was 5 stars. WiFi and location are definitely 10/10 for me. My first issue was with the refrigerator not working, I lowered the temp to the lowest possible setting but nothing changed and I notified the front desk and they said they would send someone to check within an hour and that person never showed up I’m not sure if they came while we were out but when we came back the refrigerator was still warm. This issue was never fixed up to the day we checked out. It was very disappointing as I had baby food that needed to be refrigerated. The blinds in the bedroom do not block out any light at all and our room was opposite a parking lot which head very bright lights all night long it was so hard to fall asleep I hope the property can have better curtains or blinds. Secondly, I’m not sure if I missed it somewhere about them not offering house keeping, at least there’s a washer and dryer so I just washed the towels on my own. We stayed 6 nights and no one ever came to refresh the rooms or even add more toilet paper or garbage bags. The floors were visibly dirty and dusty like they haven’t been vacuumed in months. The 9th floor common area was so filthy, the toilet was so dirty and smelly, the couch was so dirty I couldn’t even sit on it. The central cooling/heating system makes a strange long noise every now and then and it kept waking up my child. I could find any way to turn it off and that was very frustrating.

Nice room, but the floor and the bed were a bit dirty. Amenities are ok. Location also ok.

兩房一廳公寓超大，製冰機、洗碗機，洗衣乾衣機都有。孩子們很喜歡。天台有gym, 景觀超正。走15分鐘就到唐人街和reading terminal market。以後再來費城還住這。

地點離市中心兩條街還算方便，但周邊餐飲配套較少要走到市中心才有。房間面積很大配套很完善，有電磁爐烤箱洗衣機烘乾機，適合長住或者自己煮飯的。公共設施在頂層，沒什麼需要用到但也算齊全乾凈。房間裝修簡潔有些工業風，水泥大白為主主打簡潔方便。一切都還算ok，唯一一點是住了5天基本沒有打掃過，酒店應該在入住時或在房間內給予一定指引，包括房間打掃、垃圾清理説明，以便住客自行處理或付費處理。我向前台要求打掃衞生卻被告知一般住了3天才打掃一次，但實際上住的5天都沒有打掃過。特別是垃圾堆積不知如何處理，這與平時出差住酒店有點落差，如果是需要住客自行清理垃圾，那也是需要相應指引，不然會造成困惑給人感覺沒有服務。

Booked a room here for my anniversary, and it was a terrible experience... First of all, the room was disgusting and the security latch at the door didn’t work (as you can see in the pictures). Worst of all, however, was the service. Three days before my stay I requested a late check-out, and they approved it for 2PM. With that in mind we woke up at around 10:30AM and were shocked by a message sent to us stating we had to leave by 11AM. I tried to contact the front desk but the person there was rude and asked me for proof of my late check-out approval. After providing proof, the person was still rude and told me we had to leave anyway or they would charge us an extra night, and the best they could do was to give us till noon… so we had to rush and leave. I did try contacting Wyndham directly and opened a case with them, but they were of no help and said their hotels are independently owned and there’s nothing they can do…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great stay at The Heid Lofts by Reside. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff we met in person were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, with Chinatown and Reading Terminal Market about a 5–10-minute walk away. Parking at the nearby Metropolis garage was reasonably priced and included in-and-out access. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because several basic amenities—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and the coffee maker pot—were missing at check-in. Our request through the app wasn’t answered until the last day, so we purchased what we needed ourselves. The TV remote was also missing, though a helpful staff member replaced the television, which was especially appreciated while traveling with two toddlers. Overall, I would recommend The Heid Lofts to travelers who value spacious accommodations, a central location, and convenient parking, especially families or groups who want more room than a typical hotel provides. Just be prepared to bring or purchase a few basic toiletries and kitchen supplies, and don’t rely on app support for an immediate response. Despite these issues, the clean rooms and excellent location made for an enjoyable stay, and I’d gladly return with those expectations in mind.

Don’t book this hotel!!!!! Ruined my entire weekend!!!!! I arrived at this hotel around 4:30pm exhausted and ready to relax. However upon arrival I’m told the room I reserved wasn’t available anymore (what’s the point of a reservation then???) and that they were now separating my party of 4 into 2 rooms. Which weren’t ready yet even though it was past check-in time. We then had to wait upstairs by the rooftop area and that spot was a DISASTER. Messy. Dish soap as hand soap in the bathroom. A group of people doing a random non professional photoshoot on the rooftop, with their belongings thrown about in the common area. Clothes, underwear. Boxes of McDonald’s and like 50+ surfside beverages. What a mess. Over an hour passes, my room isn’t ready and I have to leave for dinner reservations. I go downstairs to try to figure out where to put my stuff and apparently this place has only 1 employee and he wasn’t at the desk. The lockers they have for people’s stuff didn’t work. I had to lug it all back to my car and go to dinner. Around 9pm I came back - locked out of the building with no key card because I didn’t even get the chance to check in yet because my room wasn’t ready and the man AGAIN was not at the desk!!! Finally a guest let us in and we waited and waited to check in. No one shows. We eventually cancelled our booking & got another hotel however this came with having to miss an event we had to go to at 9:30. Overall the stupid hotel messed up our entire day. It was messy, the person at the desk didn’t apologize once for the inconvienance and was unhelpful. We were also not the only people waiting for our room to be ready. Overall wish I never booked with this place and multiple guests were upset. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!

I would not recommend this establishment. I’m not calling at a hotel because it’s not. Housekeeping is not great, front desk staff are dismal and ineffective and unhelpful. It not a great location and it is not a good value. I would not recommend it at all. Very disappointing.

I went during The Roots Picnic and the hotel was hopping. The staff was polite, professional and quick to handle every need. The spaces are chic and have an uptown sophistication. I will warn that the walls are thin and your neighbors can hear you; pack headphones. I'd suggest getting coffee from Elixir Coffee and go to the rooftop for a proper morning sunrise.
