The room is nice and tidy, and it comes with a washing machine, dryer, a functional kitchen, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave, etc. It is also suitable for long stays.

It was so cozy and comfy

My recent stay at The Placemaker Hotel differed significantly from my typical business travel experiences. The property functions as a residential apartment building, with the lower five floors dedicated to hotel guests while the upper levels serve as off-campus student housing. Despite this hybrid setup, my room was exceptionally clean, offering expansive city views alongside practical amenities such as a kitchenette, an in-unit washer and dryer, and an ADA-compliant bathroom. The facilities were particularly well-suited for a productive working trip. On the 22nd floor, a rooftop lounge provides an inviting space with stunning nighttime panoramas of the city skyline. The business center is fully equipped with dedicated study pods and workstation screens to easily link up a laptop for extended work sessions. Fitness options were equally impressive, featuring a brightly lit gym with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, modern, meticulously maintained equipment, a separate studio for yoga and stretching, and a spacious infrared sauna. Overall, the property delivers a clean, well-appointed, and efficient environment for business travelers.

Location was great and space was kept very well , clean and comfortable. Had a nice view! Dennis was very accommodating and was able to help us have a very smooth check in.

First time visiting the Phoenix area and the staff and facility were splendid. I traveled solo for a 2 night stay and the room was more than enough! If I could I would stay longer! I will definitely come back!

Great location - lots of young people out partying, so kind of loud late at night. Atmosphere - young, fun, everything is around you. Quaint room with everything needed. Great value for the one night we stayed. They even had a parking lot if you have a car under the building - convenience!

We stayed at Placemakr Downtown Phoenix in July, and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and sincere — every single team member was amazing. Angelo (the manager), Deandre, and the rest of the front desk team were all pleasant and accommodating from start to finish. The customer service was outstanding, and honestly, everyone on this team deserves credit. Well done on the hiring and training — I was extremely impressed. The location is right at a light rail stop and close to all of Phoenix's popular downtown venues, restaurants, museums, and sports venues, along with supermarkets for everyday needs. Trust me, this place is it. The amenities were outstanding too, and the views from the pool, gym, and lounge were a real highlight. Our room came fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and cookware, a fridge with an ice maker, and even a washer and dryer stocked with pods and soap, which made the stay feel like a real home away from home. Despite being right in the middle of downtown, the building was peaceful and quiet; I almost forgot we were downtown. Given everything included, the value was well worth it. We did run into a hiccup at check-in when housekeeping called out, which delayed our room and was honestly a major inconvenience. That said, I'm glad they didn't hand us a dirty room in the rush to get us in; they held out until it was properly ready. Angelo handled the situation professionally, made concessions, and truly looked out for us. He was so understanding, and I'm genuinely grateful for how it was handled. They have a fan in me. My wife and I truly enjoyed this place; it was just an amazing stay. I live here in Phoenix, and I still want to go back. We'll be referring friends and family to stay here too.
