The site that we booked from stated there was a pool there is no pool. You cannot even touched the water whoever books here keep in mind. There is no pool at the Phoenix location. I had to pay extra money at another place to go visit the pool I will never stay here ever again watch where you book Trip.com not a good site.

We have never been to Phoenix before and booked a trip to see a concert downtown. The cab ride from the airport was very quick. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff were great. The lobby is nicely done and there is a restaurant off the lobby that is open for breakfast until 12:00 with outdoor seating. There is also a small shop in the lobby where you can purchase snacks, drinks etc. We booked a suite for a bit more room and it was spacious-nice sized bedroom and living room with a couch, chair, dining table and TV. There were floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and living room that let in a ton of natural light with blackout blinds and shades which was nice-it took a bit of tweaking to get them to work, but we managed. The room had a coffee maker with 2 coffee and 2 tea, some sugar etc. and plastic cups, ice bucket, small fridge that worked and a small bar sink and 2 small glasses for drinking. The hotel WIFI was not the best-we ended up using cell data most of the time while we were there. Storage in the bedroom was lacking. No drawers for clothing. There was a large desk and desk chair with a large TV on the wall, a sitting chair and a king size bed with 2 small tables on either side with lights and charging outlets. One charging outlet did not work when we were there but we made do. The bathroom has a walk in shower. The pressure was adequate. There was an awkward grab bar beside the toilet that was quite wobbly, but luckily we did not need it for support. They also had a shower chair there to use if needed. There was toiletries-shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bar soap and a hair dryer. There was no storage in the bathroom. The room had one closet beside the entrance with a few hangers and a room safe. The bed was comfortable and the room was really quiet at night. For amenities-there was a small gym on the top floor we peeked into and it looked pretty standard as hotel gyms go. There is also a roof top restaurant and bar that had great views. The hotel is really close to a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops and we had a quick 25 minute walk to the concert venue on Washington Street. In all, it was a great stay for the price and I have to say every staff member we encountered while we were there was so friendly and helpful.

First, let me say I stayed at this hotel a few days after it was rebranded as a Hilton property called “The Inkwell.” Hilton sure has some work ahead of them. The lobby was very bare bones, lobby bar not open, didn’t feel very welcome, especially classifying this as a “hip” hotel. Front desk was mixed bag. Not very friendly or helpful, maybe that will change with new Hilton Standards. Rooftop bar/lounge not worth it, extremely overpriced bland food. (Again, maybe Hilton will update this because the rooftop restaurant as a ton of potential) The biggest disappointment were the rooms. Furniture already worn, hard bed, kind of gross & underwhelming bathroom. I am really hopeful if Hilton invests some money with a renovation, and staff training, and upgraded food options this can be a great boutique property.

I was profiled after paying nearly $500 for my room plus my NBA and baseball ticket! I was treated as if I was the homeless off the streets and came and paid for a room there cops was called on me and told that I was trespassing

My experience with this hotel is zero; but it is not for lack of trying. First of all the title is misleading (it is a long walk of 20 minutes from the Convention Center-particularly in 100+ degree Phoenix--and 4 miles from the airport1). But the local management does not have any control over that. My complaint is that I cancelled a reservation on May 28 within the allotted time period. But I was charged for the room anyway and the hotel has been non-reponsive to me, ******* and Better Business Bureau re: a refund. The manager has been "unavailable" whenever contacted about this issue. Everyone makes mistakes. It is how they resolve the issues that is equally important.
