L’hôtel est bien, le personnel sympathique et le petit déjeuner très correct. La piscine est, comme souvent, très petite mais bien entretenue. Quant à l’emplacement, c’est un peu éloigné des centres d’intérêt de la ville, ce qui peut amener à marcher dans les rues qui sont malheureusement très mal entretenues dans l’ensemble d’Ayutthaya… Cet hôtel est néanmoins un très bon choix.

This is a very different and unique hotel ,right on the river. There are great views of the river and a wide array of boat traffic to observe. The rooms are smaller than we expected. The bathrooms were good, but some maintenance and upkeep had been deferred. The bed was located in a corner, so the person next to the wall either slithered out the bottom or crawled over their partner, if they had to use the washroom during the night. Not a good situation for us older people. The full service restaurant was excellent with great food, a wide selection on the menu and full service. The hotel is not within walking distance of most shopping and / or restaurants, but only a short boat ride away. Would need to hire a water taxi to get to these other locations. As older people, this is a very good hotel, but we would not say a great hotel. Would recommend.

L'albergo è arredato con gusto e l'intera struttura ha uno splendido design. Le camere sono spaziose ma stranamente un lato del letto non ha lo spazio per passare (bisogna entrare dal fondo) e dall'altro lato non c'è il comodino e nemmeno delle prese, anche se ci sarebbe lo spazio per metterli. Purtroppo l'aria condizionata era in una pessima posizione, quindi era direttamente sul letto e dava parecchio fastidio. Abbiamo provato a spegnerla ma faceva troppo caldo. Ha una bella vista sul fiume che circonda il centro di Ayutthaya, però la posizione comporta che si senta parecchio il traffico del canale, dato che passano barche molto rumorose anche durante la notte. Queste si sentono dalla camera anche perché la porta finestra che dà verso il fiume si chiude male. Il ristorante è davvero ottimo, in particolare una loro specialità è il gamberone cotto sulla brace. Molto buona anche la colazione, che viene servita sia in camera che nel ristorante e ti fanno scegliere il giorno prima uno specifico piatto, quindi non essendo a buffet la qualità è davvero alta.

We stayed here two nights. It is the quirkiest reception I have ever seen as it was a room with you outside under an umbrella checking in. The whole place is brick themed, I suppose to reflect the old city ruins which is why people come here. They have about 8/10 rooms which are comfortable enough but a little cramped. A small swimming/plunge pool which has no privacy from the restaurant. This place is really all about the restaurant which served very good Thai food with excellent ingredients. This is carried over into the breakfast which you needed to order the night before. Again quality of ingredients was evident with some of the best croissants I have had outside France and actual sourdough bread. Great location by the river. Not the cheapest hotel on our trip but the food made it worthwhile. Parking is restricted but the attendants reserved places for guests which was great.

Übersichtliche Auswahl an Thai Gerichten und europäischer Küche. Gute Qualität der Speisen. Weinkarte mit beschränkter Auswahl, nur je eine Variante an offenem Wein in rot oder weiss. Leider kam der offene Rotwein direkt aus dem Kühlschrank . Spezielle, Separate Vegetarier/Veganer Karte. Service ist immer verfügbar und beratend zur Stelle. Tolle Aussicht von der grossen Terrasse auf das Geschehen auf dem Fluss, was abends unterhaltsam ist. Ein paar Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant vorhanden oder auf der gegenüber liegenden Strassenseite.

This is a boutique hotel with only 8 units and a tiny swimming pool but with no other facilities. It is more known for its restaurant than a hotel. Foods of the restaurant were good and you could see many non hotel guests eating at the restaurant during lunch and dinner. However, the layout of the hotel is no good, it is elongated with 2 separate and good size bathroom and toilet. But, there is little space left for chairs and there is only a wooden chair in the room. So you will have difficulty finding a place to sit except on the bed. The TV is at the side and very close to the bed. The bathrobes of our room were bad and worn out and should be replaced. Overall, it is not worth the price that we pay of Baht 8,000++ per night.
