Overall, this hotel is good!
Pros:
- peace and quite, nice hotel environment for relaxation.
- Pleasant staff, even when we check out, a staff comes to our room door to help us grab our baggage to the reception counter.
- Spacious room, toilet and bath room (both shower and bath tube available).
- 2-king sized beds, great!
- Free airport transfer, better email the hotel directly to make your request at least one day in advance.
- It’s a small scaled resort, but reasonable varieties of choices in breakfast.
- Free minimal water for refill.
- Welcome drink and fruit at room

Cons:
- the resort is located in a very remote area, like inside a village. Many taxi drivers not sure the location, so many times they lose their ways to the hotel.
- Actually, not recommend for 1-2 girls to book this hotel, its remoteness is really a big concern, both day time and night time!
- I feel scared in the toilet and shower area, because they install something like mosquito net only in window areas. That means I can see through outside, vice versa. I wonder I may see some eyes starring at me when I shower at night…. Scary!
- Their hot water tap takes over 15 mins for heating, wasting lot of water to wait for shower…
- Eco-friendly hotel, they provide plastic reusable sandals, so better bring your own sandals if needed

location is good, few mins walk to the beach, and few mins walk to the Grand World Nightly Light show place, where many shops and restaurants are there.
There is free bus ride, Vinbus from airport to the hotel and also stops at the city centre. You can save some Grab money there.
Facilities, Standard swimming pool and there are some staff oeganizing water polo games for hotel guests to join. they are fantastic. The slide is right there, but didnt open during my stay, a bit disappointed
the things i dont like was that too many people smoked around the pool, which i felt very uncomfortable.
The breakfast was fine, but there were so many people and staff were not able to keep the place clean. Please hire more staff.
To conclude, the stay was fine, and it is value for money.

A beautiful, green small hotel with a well-kept area. We took a bungalow with a sea view, the view of the sunset and the sea is excellent. The bungalow is two-story, on the second floor there is only a bed. There is a door between the rooms in the bungalow, so the soundproofing is poor!!!, you can hear everything. The breakfasts are very decent, very tasty. Respect and praise to the chef! There were even eclairs with cream, very tasty! The service at breakfast is excellent, the waiters immediately clear the plates. Well done! There is a gym under a canopy, few exercise machines, no water and towels in the gym, I hope the management will take this into account. There is a sauna, unfortunately for a fee, 300,000 dong per person for only 30 minutes?! Is this very expensive, and there are 5 of us?! We have been to many hotels, saunas are free. Even now we are already in another hotel, not far from Famiana and here the sauna is free. The perimeter fence urgently needs to be painted white. The grey, unfinished fence along the entire border of the hotel is very noticeable. And finally the beach. It's a fiasco. There is a sea, but no beach at all, the descent into the sea is extremely inconvenient. Horrible huge bags by the wall in the sea spoil the whole impression of the hotel. We left for another hotel only because of the entrance to the sea! Otherwise the hotel is wonderful, we will come back if the entrance to the sea is comfortable.

My parents and I decided to travel Vietnam again bc we all had good memories in the first visit. We enjoyed the shuttle bus service and breakfasts at Lahana. Unfortunately, one day before leaving…I ate Italian food (not far from Lahana)and felt too sick,so my family changed the plan for seeing doctor and back to China. We will definitely recommend Lahana to other friends when they wanna travel this beautiful island.

I had an amazing stay at Tropicana Resort in Phu Quoc! The service was top-notch, and the breakfast options were not only delicious but offered a wide variety to suit every taste. My room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The large pool was a great way to unwind, and having access to a private beach was a huge bonus. Free sunbeds and towel services were provided, and it was fantastic to be able to order food and drinks directly at the beach.
The only downside was the lack of control over the beach beds. I noticed that some guests were leaving their items on the beds early in the morning or even overnight to reserve them, but would only return many hours later. This was really frustrating, as it prevented other guests from using the sunbeds. It would be great if the resort could implement a system to limit bed reservations to, say, 2-3 hours, allowing guests to enjoy the beach, go for lunch, or get a massage, while ensuring everyone gets a fair chance at the beds. I stayed for 5 days and was only able to use a sunbed once, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, the resort was wonderful, but improving this small issue would make it even better. Still, highly recommend for a relaxing and luxurious stay!

All the staff was great especially Nam who’s very helpful and answered all our questions. He even recommended us good food and where to eat. The room was clean and bright, and the room service was always on time. Aside of that a few walks from your room, you can view beautiful sun set.
Buffet breakfast was ok but will be more happy if they could change their menu every 2 days. Overall our stay was very pleasant and will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends. Last but not least, there’s a must-try dish when you come to Phu Quoc Island, Bun Quay. It’s a seafood bun (noodles) from Phu Quoc Island. The bonus is you can find a restaurant selling this noodle across the hotel (2min walk). The name of the restaurant is Kien Xay. Please go early as the shop is always crowded with tourists even locals also visit regularly.

An amazing hotel. The location is very convenient—there’s a free shuttle to the city center every 40 minutes (since it’s the final stop). The beach is clean, and we always got sunbeds. The breakfasts are delicious, and it’s great that they’re served until 2:00 PM. The staff is polite, always smiling, and the cleaning is top-notch. The hotel is new, has a pleasant scent, and is really beautiful.

CCheeDorothyWe stayed at the Venice Hotel for 4 nights from 8 to 12 Jan 2025. The hotel is very centrally located and very close to many activities and food. The hotel offers free buggy service to anywhere within Sunset Town and even a free 30 mins Sunset Town tour, cable car ride to Hon Thom island and Aquatopia Water Park!
As we had an ocean view room, we were able to watch extreme sea sports and Symphony of the Sea performances as well as fireworks from our balcony every night! It was so awesome!!
The staff at Venice Hotel were very polite and helpful. We want to thank Hannah and Scarlett especially for going out of their way to help us with many of our queries and requests. We were also surprised to see the general manager, Ms Marissa, sitting at the reception area, quietly doing her work and observing and rendering help when the need arose.
We would highly recommend the Venice Hotel. But for those who are early sleepers and prefer quieter lodging, this place may not be for you as there are two pubs just across the hotel and you can hear the music till the wee morning of 2am-3am. We worked around this issue by wearing ear plugs!

First location is good(Sao beach is really close,) but I think beach that is 2 min walking from hotel is way better and clean, sand is white, not so many people as well..Service is amazing, stuff is so friendly and willing to help with everything. Only manager speaks good English, but overall all of them are so nice. This hotel should have 4 stars. Rooms are amazing, clean , they have wverything that you need, for someone will be important they have toilet seats like in Japan. Good TV, you can have rest with Netflix. They have lovely dog that will welcome you everytime when you come back to hotel. Boss is also friendly. Breakfast is like in Europe, you can choose what you want. The Jo's cucine is in hotel and pastas are sooo delicious. We ate lunch and dinner there. Coffee is soo good and you can order every coffee .So amazing hotel, so if you are willing to stay in Phu Quoc, this will be the best offer for this island. I will come here again for sure !!! All the best for this hotel.

NNomuundari EThe room was spotless. Watching the sun set over the ocean was a highlight of my stay—it was simply stunning! The hotel’s location, right on the beach, made it easy to enjoy the sea anytime I wanted.
Dining at the on-site restaurant was also a treat.

GGuest UserIf it is important for you to have everything nearby (bars, restaurants, excursions, currency exchange offices), then this hotel is perfect for you. Everything is clean, the area is beautiful, it is located in a busy area, but this hotel is a quiet oasis. The staff is responsive. I highly recommend this hotel.

The bathtub is positioned quite high, which makes it difficult to step in and out safely. People may be at risk of tripping or hitting themselves while trying to use it, as I personally experienced some difficulty.

YYoman BrunsonI don't want to speak bad about the place because the people are nice. In its heyday this hotel must have been nice but the tennis court along with the 10th floor doesn't exist. The hotel seems like a ghost town. We only saw 8 other rooms that were occupied. Breakfast wasn't that great. Besides the eggs and soup everything seems as though it was sitting there for a while. The rooms didn't have hot water. Made the jacuzzi not usable. The staff worked to fix the problem but we only had one days worth of hot water. Had a suite but the room it's just two normal rooms put together, lots of empty space. The view facing the ocean is nice. To sum up, there's no bar for drinks, no electricity one morning, no tennis court. Stay someplace else instead, definitely not worth the money.

GGuest UserThe Palmy was likely an absolutely stunning property when it was built. Unfortunately the environment and a low maintenance budget have taken its toll. Lots of rusty steel railings are evident.
The restaurant which claims to have both western and local cuisine has what appears to be a Chinese leaning breakfast buffet and the dinner menu is limited to a blade steak dish and Pizza. This was confirmed by another guest that had been there for a week.
The multiple pools looked nice but seemed cloudy.
We splurged and went for the executive suite expecting to have a functional living space. It consisted of a wooden love seat and a coffee table and nothing else. No tv or anything.
The bedroom was the unique room. It was appointed with a nice bed in the centre of the room with a desk behind the headboard, a wall to wall curtains separated the sleeping are from the bathroom area. A glass shower and tub area was in one corner and a glass walled toilet area was in the other.
Beach access was though the restaurant.

DDeparture JCThe owner of the villa was great. He tried his best to serve us well, once he knew there was a problem with the air conditioning, he immediately called people to fix it as soon as possible. The only cons is that the villa has some ants, but that’s average for a normal Vietnam hotel due to its weather and location. Speaking of it’s location, it is kind far away from the city but who needs to go out when you can just take a swim in the outdoor private swimming pool. The pool has a volley ball, and some floaties to play around. Not just that, nearby there is a Vietnamese pho restaurant which is quite clean and good. You can take out or eat there. Inside the villa, there is a kitchen and a laundry room which is completely free. On the second floor there are beanbags and a sofa with TV, it was very clean. On the third and fourth floor, is the bedrooms they are very clean though the mattress are a bit too hard.
Tips : Close the laundry room door and all the other doors and windows every day and night if available to avoid flying termites, they usually come and night and before rain.
