We had a 3 night stay in one of the hideaway rooms. Extremely comfortable facilities in the middle of the town, a great restaurant with really quality food and interesting menu, especially the fish dishes. Staff were extremely good, efficient, pleasant and very helpful, which really contributed to our stay. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this lovely market town. Highly recommended

The hotel is really quite special, the hideaway rooms are clean, beautifully decorated with all amenities- towels,toiletries,kettle,bathrobes etc. The bathroom is very spacious with a shower and separate bath. Food at the restaurant is very tasty and portion size is just right. The service from all the staff is polite and very welcoming. Overall I have stayed here 3 times now and have had a great experience each time.

All staff very friendly, bed Very comfortable. Good night sleep witty house rules breakfast so much choice will definitely be going back nice pubs all in walking distance also tried the Italian which has local reviews we found Pickering as a whole very good

We ate at the White Swan twice as the hotel we were staying at were not serving food on these particular days. We enjoyed our meals, however we thought the cost of wine was particularly expensive. The cheapest white Pino Grigio came out at £30. Our favourite Gavi was priced at £52. Needless to say we stayed off the wine.

We had a wonderful time at the White Swan and would happily stay again. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We had a lovely, pretty room and the food was delicious (we had dinner both nights!). This is a really lovely hotel and would highly recommend :-)

14th April 5pm Just went with my brother for a drink ... lovely relaxed place comfy seating ...the young barman was very polite and friendly ... made the whole experience a very good one and I'll come again and maybe next time stay for a few nights Graham

Great location, wonderful staff, fabulous breakfast, dogs are welcome. My sister and I had a night away and stayed at The White Swan - it was really great. The staff were busy but always kind and attentive. They seemed to really care about their guests. Breakfast was delicious - I had locally sourced smoked haddock and poached egg, the whole breakfast was generous and fresh. Loved our stay and will be back.

Excellent location, with easy parking, and just a short walk from Pickering Station if intending to travel on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Staff very friendly and helpful, comfortable room (vintage) and excellent breakfasts and evening meal.
