I am a once a year visitor to South Africa from the US and have been staying at the Ascot Inn for many years. It feels like home to me. The lovely comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens and friendly and efficient staff all contribute towards making my stays perfect. I sometimes travel alone and I feel so welcomed and safe from the moment I enter the secure gates to the property. The restaurant has a friendly pub like atmosphere with excellent service and a wide array of drinks and a wonderful varied menu prepared by a true chef. Love, love, love the Ascot Inn.

Very nice and well-kept hotel complex. The restaurant offers varied food. Adequate breakfast. Like to come back.

Amazing BnB! Exactly as advertised would recommend a stay. Fully equipped rooms and rolling gardens. Very interesting place with all rooms fashioned out of old horse stables. Friendly staff and amazing bar/lapa area. Very central in Maritzburg with many things to do in the area.

Bad experience security refused to let me in the property after showing him the confirmation Disappointed

Very friendly, clean and helpful staff. Freshly cooked meals served daily. Ascot Inn is home when you away from home. Loadshedding and and water cuts are not experienced here and the rooms have air conditioning and dstv. 24 hr security available.
