"The location is convenient. We stayed in the poolside double room. The amenities were a bit old, but the room was spacious. Breakfast was excellent with many options. However, the parking lot was very crowded, narrow and dark."

"Nice breakfast. Hotel retains some charm and pre-war grandeur. The pool and saunas are nice, as is the staff. Jackhammering (two diggers) across the street, even Sunday. Beach amenities(about a dozen spots for cabanas/dual beach loungers) not open first two days, then just a “soft open” with no service while many other places had already opened(end of May/start of June). The “beach”location is bit of an exaggeration anyhow, exposed between a busy cafe and a construction site, and across the main boulevard from the hotel. Also charged 5x more in local taxes than what the reservation specified, not a large amount compared to other cities and presumably not the hotel’s doing but info should be more accurate during booking. The rooms are comfortable and as described, if slightly dated."

"Loved this place. It's got a 50s vibe decor that's really fun and is on a beautiful location with lots of lounge chairs and stairs that lead to the Adriatic for a swim. The restaurant is really good and so is the free breakfast. It's a lovely 15 minute walk along the waterfront to the Old Town of Piran. Glad we stayed here."

"Rooms Koblar has been recently renovated and is really up to modern standards at a very reasonable price. It has all the comforts you might want: large screen tv, refrigerator in room, wifi, air-conditioning and heating, parking right in front of the room.Check in is automated, and 24 hours available. On the grounds there is a large terrace with furniture where you can spend an enjoyable evening with a glass of wine. ( This you need to buy nearby and bring along.) Downtown Portoroz is within walking distance and Piran is s short drive from here. Breakfast is not served, but there are various cafes nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful."

"Excellent service, family trip (2 adults and 2 children), great location, right on the sea. Very kind and professional staff. Attentive to every need. The thermal pools are beautiful. We stayed half board. Breakfast was excellent; anything we wanted was available and delicious. Dinner was spectacular, everything perfect. The room was spotless, with two bathrooms and a large terrace. The tub was practically in the center of the room."

"All was perfect, the breakfast is wonderful, so many things, they are also creating you omlets and eggs in a way you would like. The rooms are perfect and nice and clean. Two things as negatives: the most important pool outside is closed and nobody understands why it is closed, the other ine is the parking: i think this should be free as you pay a lot for your stay and so many taxes and you need to pay 24 EUR/ NIGHT!!! as a paying guest in this hotel… nonsense…"

"The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. However, the property appears to have two separate buildings: an older/main building and a newer building. The newer building felt more like a budget version of the main hotel, rather than being of the same standard. This was disappointing, as both buildings appear to be marketed under the same hotel brand and rating, which can be misleading for guests. While the location and service were positive, the difference in quality between the buildings should be made clearer at the time of booking so guests know what to expect."

"This hotel felt very clean. Our room felt spacious, nice balcony overlooking the water. Wonderful breakfast options. We won’t leave hungry. Dinner at the restaurant decent. Appreciate Darrin at the front desk. He always seemed to be there. I gave it four stars instead of five stars because twice the Cleaning crew walked into the bedroom early in the morning and we did not have a sign on the door telling them to come in to clean. As a matter of fact, we were sound asleep as it was around 8 AM and then again around 9 AM. That part was definitely not appreciated."
