"The Hotel Apollo is certainly comfortable and in an excellent location, near the sea and practically in the center of Portorož. The room was quiet and the staff were friendly, excellent breakfast. But ... 1) the thermal pools are shared with two other hotels and open to the public: in fact it makes all the hydromassage services they offer impracticable 2) there is no control over how long the spa services can be occupied hydromassage and therefore we found ourselves groups of people who have monopolized these services 3) it is unthinkable in a hotel that claims to be 4 stars not to be able to have a coffee due to the absence of a bar (and also of any automatic machine) I think therefore I will never return to this establishment again"

"This hotel recently ended its partnership with the Kempinski hotel chain, and unfortunately, the difference is clearly noticeable. The new operator, Minor Hotels under the Minor Reserve Collection, is officially expected to launch in 2027. However, it is disappointing that while charging the same premium rates, the level of service and overall experience of a five-star hotel has already declined so significantly. The most noticeable issue is the lack of staff. Waiting times for valet service have become considerably longer, whether dropping off or retrieving a car. At the front desk, there is often only one employee assisting guests, and despite the hotel appearing noticeably less busy than in previous years, staffing levels still seem insufficient. Additionally, during our stay only one elevator was operating. While not a major issue on its own, this is simply not the standard expected from a five-star property. Several elements that once defined the luxury experience have also been reduced or removed. One of the restaurants was closed, pool service no longer offers the same attentive food and beverage experience, and housekeeping now arrives noticeably later in the day compared to previous stays. Breakfast deserves special mention. Unfortunately, the selection is weaker than in previous years, and guests are now expected to fetch much more themselves, which takes away from the comfort and level of service expected at this standard. This is a significant drawback. That said, we would especially like to praise the younger lady working at breakfast service, who was outstanding — professional, attentive, and truly delivering the level of hospitality one would expect from a luxury hotel. Even the smaller details reveal the change. The shower gels and shampoos are of lower quality, the amenity kits feel basic, the minibar selection is more limited, and even the maintenance of the surrounding gardens and park areas lacks the attention to detail that was once so evident. Overall, this property feels noticeably downgraded compared to last year under the Kempinski hotel chain. We understand that transitions take time, but lowering standards while maintaining five-star pricing is difficult to justify. We sincerely hope this is only a transitional phase and that the hotel will soon return to the level of excellence and attention to detail that once made it truly stand out."

"فندق مريح جدا. الموظفين محترفين، خدمتهم مقارنة بأفضل فنادق 5 نجوم. الغرف لطيفة جدا، وجبة الإفطار كانت من الجودة العليا (الأطباق الساخنة فقط كانت باردة بسبب تكييف الهواء الواسع، يجب على الموظفين التعامل معه). بركة السباحة الداخلية صغيرة ولكنها جيدة الشكل الدافئ للمياه. يبدو أن بركة السباحة الخارجية ولكنها مغلقة لأنه كان قبل الصيف. عموما على سعر مماثل سوف أعود بالتأكيد إلى الفندق. وكان الرأي خارج إطار العمل، وكان السعر مغريا. إذا كنت تبحث عن مكان ما في المدينة، فسوف تختار غرفة مع إطلالة بانورامية."

"فندق آخر؟ يقع في نفس مبنى سكني وملاصق لمجمع سكني وملاصق لمجمع سكني افطار ولكن لا يوجد توضيح في صفحة الحجز ، ومن مواقف السيارات إلى مواقف الغرف مروراً بمنحدر خارجي ، والنقل من الحقائب ليس بالأمر السهل. يبعد الفندق قليلاً عن المدينة القديمة في بيران. تحتاج إلى سيارتك للذهاب إلى هناك."

"We have been guests at the hotel for a few years. It's always all to our satisfaction. We're always happy to come back. Only the music in the Marinbar is a disaster. Partly 2 evenings in a row the same playlist. This is really no longer to stand. You should be able to expect a DJ to be able to create a changing music program over one to two weeks. Many people go when it plays down his list. It's funny that nothing happens. When the hotel manager puts on the sunset or lotus bar, the music is always super, the cabin is full and a super mood."

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our trip here. The staff were lovely - Zan was very helpful. The breakfasts were nice and the surrounding countryside is lush and green. It’s an easy walk to Piran (bit dark on the way back). Very comfortable and clean."

"Hotel is more or less okay, but not worth the price. The rooms are really modern, clean and adequate for 4* hotel. However the rest of the hotel area and customer service is quite poor. The pools, spa and restaurant is super overcrowded, noisy and smelly and would need some refresh. The entrance to the pools is for free, to go to saunas you have to pay 18 euros per person. You cannot buy any drinks in spa, you have to leave the area and walk to the pools. however, the pool bar is open just until 6 PM, while the wellness is open until 9 PM. During our stay it was full of little kids, screaming all over the pools and we felt like in aquapark or local swimming pool not like in a wellness that is supposed to be calming and relaxing. The wellness is shared between various hotels, so you can imagine how full it can be. It was okay for one night but If you want a relaxing place to stay, it is better to look for a different hotel."

"AC doesn’t work - at 11pm they offered to move us to another room. We were unpacked and needed to get up at 6am. No one was available to try to fix the problem. Second offered solution was to open the balcony doors. That worked (in May ) for the temperature but we had 7 hours of no / fitful sleep with the street noise. What do they do in August when it is 90 outside??!! Stay elsewhere Perhaps there are reasons why Kempinski yanked their association with this hotel"

"بدأنا بخيبة أمل قليلاً في إقامتنا، حيث أن الغرفة الأولية التي أعطيناها لم تفي بتوقعاتنا بمنظر البحر من الشرفة. عند رفعنا لهذا المستوى في الإستقبال تم إبلاغنا بأنه تم الحجز بالكامل ولايوجد أي تغيير وهذا كان محبط إلى حد كبير ولكن كل شيء تغير بفضل سارة على المكتب الأمامي بالرغم من أنها ذكرت أنها جديدة، إلا أنها تعاملت مع الوضع بطريقة مهنية ومهنية جداً مع العملاء. لقد أظهرت استعداداً حقيقياً للمساعدة وعلى الرغم من الظروف، تمكنت من إيجاد حل لنا وترتيب تغيير الغرفة، والذي حول خبرتنا بالكامل. نحن نقدر حقاً موقفها الإيجابي، مجهودها، ومقاربتها، خاصةً على عكس الاستجابة الأولية التي تلقيناها. بفضل سارة، أصبحت إقامتنا ممتعة، وسنكون بالتأكيد سعداء بالعودة في المستقبل."

"لقد استمتعنا بإقامتنا في فندق ميرنا في سلوفينيا! الفندق جميل وعصري، وكانت غرفتنا واسعة ونظيفة وفيها شرفة كبيرة. كان مسؤول النزل يأتي يوميا وتغير المناشف بشكل يومي. كان حجزي في غرفة مطلة على البحيرة وكانت جميع الوجبات ضمن الحجز. بوفيه الإفطار لذيذ ومتنوع بشكل عام. كان العشاء في الفندق ريفييرا وكانت لذيذة أيضاً البوفية ممتاز ومتكامل من جميع الخيارات التي تشمل الأسماك والفواكه والحلويات. موقع الفندق قريب من البحيرة وسوق المجاز. كانت البرك الساخنة رائعة واستمتعنا بالمسافة القريبة من الشاطئ حتى بدون أن تضع أرواح الشمس أو المظلات. شكرا لكم على عطلة مذهلة!"

"1. Booked beach front room, came to know after check in that for them beachfront is just another name for sea/ beach view. Its not actually beachfront. Exorbitant price for the room which was a rather normal sized sea view room with balcony with opaque walls such that if you sit in the chair in balcony all you will see is sky and wall and not the beach. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. 2. Its a long coastal walk from the centre with no lights and very stony path- takes atleast 25-30 minutes which is very difficult with luggage and if you come after sunset to the hotel after enjoying the ambience of tartini square, you wont find even a single light on the whole path, its quite risky at night to travel by the path. Overall doesn’t feel worth the expensive price tag."
