Wonderful Stay in Placencia We had a fantastic stay at this amazing apartment! The location was excellent - walking distance to all that the village of Placencia has to offer and super close to the northern end of the sidewalk. The apartment is modern and clean, the patio is spacious. Cindy at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Our family had a great stay. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Bait and switch I booked a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment on June 15th for a December 31st arrival. I received confirmation on the booking. I sent one more message to the manager of the booking and did not receive a reply. About 2 weeks prior to our vacation, I sent a message asking about transportation from Placencia Airport to the location, which they kindly set up for us but he made no mention of the fact he did not have the 3 bedroom/2 bath. We arrived at the complex and checked in. When we got to our apartment it was a 1 bedroom/1 bath with a pack and play. I have a teenager, not a baby, and was never asked it these accommodations would be acceptable. I was told that they had tried to give us the accommodations that we had booked, but it wasn't available and that I could stay in the 1 bedroom or they would refund my money. I was not able to find what we were looking for until the next day, so we stayed one night and were refunded all but one night of our trip even though it was not the apartment that we booked. The 1 bedroom had one set of towels and no sheets for the pull out bed. The cabinet doors were falling off in the bathroom. All I can say was the bed was comfortable. So to sum this up, the manager knew he did not have the accommodations that we booked all along. They baited us there thinking we would just stay because we were stuck and had no where else to go. I would never recommend this place and I recommend if you have a reservation, cancel it and run away as fast as you can.
