Nylo Dallas Plano Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I usually don’t write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience at this hotel during a recent business trip. As an Honors member, I was excited to use the pre-check-in feature where I selected my room the day before. I thought it was great that I could go straight to my room—until I arrived and learned that wasn’t the case. My reserved room was no longer available, and I had to check in at the front desk. The front desk staff couldn’t explain why my selected room had been given away, and I was placed in a different room that I wasn’t happy with. When I entered the room, I immediately noticed there was no bar soap. Later that evening, I went to the bar area where Heather and Dan turned my stay around. Their excellent service, professionalism, and kindness really made a difference after the frustrating check-in. Unfortunately, I also discovered that the pool was closed for my entire three-day stay, which was disappointing since I had chosen this hotel specifically to relax and work by the pool. On top of that, only one elevator was functioning when I checked in. Overall, the hotel itself is stylish and has potential, but the check-in process, the room issue, the out-of-service pool, and limited elevator service really impacted my experience. If it hadn’t been for Heather and Dan’s outstanding hospitality, I would have rated this hotel a 1.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. There was an issue with the TV and AC in my first room. Diego moved me to another and even went to check the 2nd room to make sure everything worked properly. He was VERY patient and did a great job assisting me. I also had a great experience with the front desk agent, Jessica. She was VERY welcoming and offered suggestions of where to eat. Lastly, Nigel, the shuttle driver. He was genuinely happy that I was enjoying my stay. He too, offered great suggestions about things around the area. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be back in the future. I recently stayed at the NYLO Hotel Plano, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The New York loft-style design gives the entire property such a unique, modern, and upscale vibe—you really don’t feel like you’re in a typical hotel. The industrial-chic touches, exposed brick, and open layout make the atmosphere both stylish and comfortable. What really made my stay stand out, though, was the service. Jessica and Nigel went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Jessica was warm, attentive, and made me feel instantly welcome the moment I checked in. Nigel was equally outstanding—professional, personable, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great stay. Together, they set the tone for what hospitality should feel like: genuine, thoughtful, and effortless. Whether you’re visiting Plano for business or pleasure, NYLO is a fantastic choice. Between the unique loft-style rooms, great amenities, and the truly exceptional staff like Jessica and Nigel, I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

First time staying at this property as a devout Hilton customer. Great vibe, front desk shout out to Nigel, Alese and Han, they were gracious and welcoming. Restaurant staff was outstanding and the housekeeping runs a tight ship. GM Marcos has things running in the right direction.

Sandra was a great bartender! Very personable and accommodating! Han and Sidney make an awesome front desk team! It's nice to be greeted with a smile!

I came on probably the worse day for the staff as there was a storm and an accident with a power line so the entire electricity and system of the hotel went down. They had to do their best to manually assign everyone rooms but def we couldn’t check in right away and waited a few hours. Even though I already checked in and picked my room on the Hilton App, they couldn’t honor it without having access to their system which took hours to reboot. I’m not familiar with the area but the location seemed very isolated and not as accessible to restaurants and conveniences of other hotels I’ve stayed in Plano. I also wasn’t a fan of the rooms and bar/food area as I am at the Los Colinas location. The bar food area is tucked in a back room and wouldn’t be able To operate as an independent spot. The bathrooms are small and on a rainy day a cozier choice of hotel would have been better. I also wish they had extra bedding available in the closets. I believe it took almost 2-3 months for them to charge some of the drinks I ordered at the bar while I waited for my room (due to the electricity issue) … that is a bit annoying What surprised me most was how not much could be done without the computer working .
