Tesoro Hotel Zakynthos

We have just returned from a brilliant week at the Tesoro which exceeded our expectations. The reception staff gave us a great welcome and we could not fault a single member of staff. Everywhere was so clean and the aircon in our room was very much appreciated and not at all noisy. The food was very good for such a small hotel with plenty of choice and Kostas worked really hard to make sure everything was topped up. The carbanara and risotto that we had from the cooking station were amazing. We were addicted to the ice cream- definitely the best we have tried in an all inclusive. The walk down to the town only took 5 minutes and to the beautiful beach 15 minutes. A very pleasant walk which we did before it became too hot and the sea was fantastic. Many thanks to Suzanne and all the staff for a great stay. We would not hesitate to return.

What a surprise this hotel was! From reading previous reviews we didn't go with high expectations however, we had the most amazing holiday. Our room was really nice, the beds were so comfy with lovely bedding and a really good air conditioning unit which made the room very comfortable in the scorching heat outside. We had a lovely balcony with a nice view. The bathroom was large with a good shower, the temp did fluctuate but you come to expect that when so many showers probably used at the same time. We did have an issue with the toilet which I reported and it got sorted with the hour, an excellent service. The pool area was really nice, we did struggle to get a lounger and unsure what time you actually need to get up in the morning to reserve one ( 8 am is obviously too late.....) however we never had a problem later on in the afternoon. The food was really nice and we enjoyed every meal. They had a great salad bar and a really nice selection of meals each day with really well cooked pork, chicken, beef and fish dishes most days. They also had a cooking station with a different meal each night with was a nice touch. No complaints, good breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. The bar had a good selection of cocktails and beer with fabulous girls serving who were so friendly and happy 😊. The area its self is fabulous, the hotel is on a slope and there are a lot of steps but we just made sure we did a bar stop once we got to the hotel before we tackled the steps to the room! A 3 min walk takes you straight to the main ***** full of shops, bars and restaurants and a 10 min walk takes you to a fabulous beach ⛱️. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel if I were to make suggestions for improvements they would be: A full length mirror in the room More sun loungers ( may be tricky with space) Open the top bar up Offer proper glasses in the restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful stay with fantastic staff who are all an asset to your hotel.

Dont believe the negative reviews this is a laid back peaceful relaxing resort just a few minutes walk from so many bars and restaurants The rooms are spacious and spotless but if love a mug of tea on the balcony bring your own as its just cups n saucers.Dressing gowns n slippers supplied and the little fridge ideal for cold drinks. No mad rush for food breakfast 8 to 10, lunch 12 to 2.30 dinner 7 to 9.30.Ple ty of choice and all tastey...loved the salads and fresh breads.Generous drinks measures. Staff all polite friendly from restaurant ti cleaners and manager always walking around and happy to chat. Our go to bar waz Jokers for tribute acts and the owner would do his best to find you a seat.Magdalenas good too all cocktails 7.50 fron 6pm to12 Sea warm to swim in.Also worth walking round corner from harbour to a little beach there with bars Fun train to Zante Nefis travel Back to roots Tui amazing 1/ 2 day South island tour

Top pool full of dead flies, food in restaurant flies walking on everything. Bird pooall over balcony, asked multiple times to have it cleaned,reply was birds are nesting above your room nothing we can do.room was never moped.maid left door open birds came in and wrapped everywhere. Tui rep not interested

We had a wonderful week at the Tesoro and despite the bad reviews we found nothing to complain about, food excellent and good variety, bed comfy and clean room..staff especially the manager.., Bill...,kostas and Vangelli and all the team.. we are returning next year ..just one thing to note there is a steep hill so maybe not for people with walking disabilities although we are both elderly and we managed.

Great hotel rooms clean neat bed comfortable pillow soft and clean balcony kept clean by housekeepers we had a swallow nest on the balcony with babies it was lovely manager always available to speak to very approachable making sure all was kept to a good standard restaurant staff very respectful of the customers clean tables and great choice of food the sister hotel across the road entertainment which you could join would we stay there again YES thank you all at TESORO
