I am absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service and empathy from Hotel GT Beach. Despite a cancellation due to an unforeseen emergency involving a young child - to my utter disbelief, they proceeded to charge me the full amount (!!!) and have completely ignored all of my emails. Their blatant disregard for their customers is unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. Their indifference is shocking and unacceptable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid GT Beach Hotel at all costs!

It is not what you see on the internet, the photos do not show the reality of the hotel, very very precarious, basic, poorly lit... And the worst thing is, they do not answer emails, the service is pathetic... I couldn't sleep even one night... I do not recommend it.

Nice family hotel. Only bad point is that housekeeping is equal to nothing, they don t clean daily and change bedsheets after only 3 days. The pool is nice but closes at 08.00 pm. Easy parking in front of hotel. Restaurant is quite simple but a few main plates.

What an absolute bargain of a place! Staff warm and friendly, rooms clean and spacious, great location, nice reasonably priced bar, free breakfast and free sun loungers on the beach. Walking distance to some shops and restaurants. We would come back!

The only problem we had with the hotel for the first night of our recent trip to Crete was finding it on one of the three roads in Maleme running parallel to the shore. Some hotels etc had set up direction signs, but we didn't spot one for GT Beach. We might even have driven straight past if I hadn't see a pool & buildings which looked just like the website's picture. Our room was one of four in a single story block, and the closest to the car park, beach etc. Initially the size of the bed made it seem small, but the clever use of space for the shower, basin and toilet allowed us adequate room, certainly for one night. Minifridge and AC included. Other comments: There are recliners and umbrellas on the beach across the road; unfortunately we could only paddle, as the waves meant it was red-flagged. My wife enjoyed a dip in the pool. There is an outdoor bar area, with drinks available from a chiller cabinet via Reception. Breakfast is a buffet in the main building with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Altogether a good start to our holiday.

Highly recommend! Best quality customer Service, delicious breakfest, quiet place, clean, nice big pool I would definetly come back there with no doubts. I enjoyed my stay a lot. Best regards for all staff from polish people.

Average hotel. On the positive side, the good behavior of the staff, a beautiful relatively small pool and a beautiful beach in front. The hotel has some sunbeds of its own on the beach but not in good condition. In the rooms, the beds are good but the furniture is cheap and a bit broken! Also, the cleanliness is relative!!! In the bathroom, three small bottles of shampoo, the basin is yellowed and the towels had not been cleaned well!!! In general, the photos show it much better than it really is. The breakfast is relatively poor and the flavors are indifferent. Bread is probably yesterday's. We only stayed one night for this and we did not say anything at the reception. We definitely will not recommend it!

Perfect hotel outside but terrible rooms, dirty with broken furniture, television disconnected because otherwise it was not possible to use the fridge, despite the continuous complaints in the hotel and to Alpitour we have not found any confirmation... sent photo after photo but nothing... They never passed the broom under the bed... double bed with two single sheets... in the morning they pulled up the bed only the top sheets... the bathroom never cleaned, furniture dirty with fruit juice... dirty sofa with various hairs and everything broken underneath, balcony with dirty chairs and tables...

Apart from Eden Viaggi who diverted me from another hotel to this one... Gtbeach with all the understanding for the staff who try to do their best, but don't have the capacity. There are kids who work. The buffet is a disgrace to the structure, as it was already finished halfway through the service. Cleaning of the rooms every other day because according to the manager there was a lack of staff. I discovered that it is passed off as 4 stars, but in reality it is 2.
